i think that is so sweet and supportive of you. i'm sure any "femme" gift from you would be greatly appreciated, whether it be an article of clothing, jewelry or even just some make up!! he is a very lucky man!!

Anything from a complete makeover service to items of clothing including jewelry will be appreciated. The fact that it is from you and recognizes his other "self" would be gift enough for many of us here.

If you know what is already in his wardrobe, maybe you can find a nice accent piece - a watch or bracelets, maybe a nice necklace. Sometimes, we're not the best at accessorizing, given our limited knowledge in this area.
I do have to say though, that your acceptance and willingness to occasionally indulge his feminine side is probably one of his most treasured gifts already.

Any occasion to give someone you really care about a gift should be special in the sense it is something they would not normally buy themselves. Those are the gifts most treasured. Your acceptance alone is a wonderful gift but to make a purchase of a gift will take some thought.
Most all of us will muster up the courage to by ourselves some lingerie and clothing and makeup. these are things that can always be explained as a gift for a gf if we need to hide the fact they are for us.
What really would make your SO feel that you totally accept him and want to make his day special might be as others have mentioned like a professional makeover with a manicure or a shopping trip you have already set up with a Store where he can try things on and feel comfortable in doing so with a helpful and understanding sales person.
Not knowing how much experience he already has, from your post it sounds like you have not seen him dressed yet so he might be very uncomfortable doing this with you watching. This only you will know but even a suprise birthday card containing somthing like "I have scheduled you an appointmet at XXXX Salon at 4pm TODAY. Just relax and enjoy as I have already instructed them on everything you need done". Followed by something like " I can't wait to spend the evening getting to know the feminine side of the man I love"

On a significant date when I first started dating my girlfriend, she gave me a silver Tiffany heart necklace. It was originally hers, but it had a lot of significance and was too large proportionally for her to wear. I wear it in either mode now. For our one year anniversary, I got her the same product line, but in rose gold and the size she wanted.
During each exchange, there were happy tears.

A fem ring or necklace (my wife has purchased me a few I treasure each item when I wear it - the diamond engagement ring and wedding band rarely leave my finger)

I bought my SO perfume for his/her birthday. It's the 1st time i have bought a girly present since he told me was CD a couple of months ago. He was over the moon this morning, so that made me very happy xx

I agree. Tell him you love him and support him in anything he does including crossdressing. If you haven't already, have him dress and take him out in public as two women out on the town. You can go to another town if you need to.
