High School Class Reunions??? Anyone gone "dressed"??

I went to my 35th in my usual everyday gear of boy clothes with heeled boots, long nails and a little makeup, which got a few comments. My 40th will be coming next summer and I haven't decided yet, but may pull out all the stops then and show up in a skirt and spikes.

I think I see a trend concerning this subject. Myself, just as what seems a number of us girls, don't want anything to do with a high school reunion. I would rather forget all about my high school years. I hated every second of my time there. Anyone else think this way ?

I got shuttled around to three different high schools (one twice) so I didn't have a lot of friends when I was at the one I graduated from. It was a big (2000+ students) school near a big city.

I won't say I hated every second of my time there, but I never felt the need to meet up with fellow students later in life. I remained friends with a couple of them for a few years but even that drifted away eventually. Now I'm 500 miles away.

I went to my 45th enfemme. My HS girl friend knew that I cross dressed and she sort of pushed me to go. I had a small class of about 30, we sent an email out to all in advance so as not to scare anyone, everyone was good about it, except one (don't know who it was). It was a hot day, wore a long skirt and sandals, with painted toenails. I had a blast and no problems at all
