I love platform heels with jeans, bright red or a royal blue colour. I worm them out last week, walked until my feet ached.....but that took longer than expected.
Excellent, isn't it great to just push the boundaries sometimes? I remember being challenged by a GG regarding how long I could wear my 5" heels and surprised her when she saw me wear them for 8 hours without flinching lol

i have to admit.. i too have been fighting the urge..
i still like the non platform heels (3-4")...
i do like the wedge heels and have been eyeballing a pair of nude pumps... some day, may even splurge the big bucks for CL
I have those heels in red and I love them. A little hard to walk in at first, but they look great and are worth it. I'm 6' 5' tall but don't really care how tall the heels make me - I can't resist them.

Ya I totally love those shoes as well, I have one pair in a nude colour and I love them. I'm only 5'7 so they do add to my height which I don't really like but I'm still fairly short and the shoes are so cute so it's totally worth it. Finally a good reason to be short

Platforms are really smoke and mirrors, but I love them and can wear them all day. Mine have a six inch heel, I know they come in higher heels, but the platform is about an inch and a half so you really are walking on a 4.5 inch heel, I have non-platforms that have 5 and 6 inch heels, platforms are a walk in the park, but after a while you can feel the platform lol

I find platform heels are certainly a lot easier and more comfortable to walk in than those which aren't platform.
Some are cushioned, too, which helps even more. I managed to walk about all day in a pair before.
Hello, girls...I agree on the comfort level of platforms vs regular heels....easier on the calf muscles. I have a pair of pink pumps from Charlotte Russe....sexy and comfortable.....5 inch heel. I am 5.7 feet tall and love the power feeling of being taller....also some sales clerks are jealous I can actually walk in them like a girl should. I am so happy to be able to converse like this....luv you all!
