    Told my stepdaughter

So this week has been rather interesting. For a long time my wife and I have been wondering how my step daughter would take the news about my dressing. So the other night we start talking about cd and how she feels about it, well one thing leads to another and I just put it out there that I wear dresses and heels and such. Her reaction was great! She has no problem with it, and even is on board with shopping, she turns 21 in April and says she wants to hang out with us. So needless to say I have been very content this week, I now am totally out and have no fear about dressing at home. Its funny how things turn out.

Wonderful. I told my 20 something step daughter last year and have been dressed around her a few times. She, like your daughter, has been very accepting. Congratulations. Enjoy the new freedom!

I thin it's a combination of your daughter being (1) of a younger more accepting generation, and (2) she knows who you are as a person. Happy it's working out for you.

    Hi Kelli,
It must be a wonderful feeling not have worry about how she would accept your dressing. Now, take her out on a shopping trip and enjoy each others company and create a new stronger bond between the two of you. Dress and be happy!

Best Wishes to you and your family,

That is a truly great outcome and will make life easier. I also told my grand daughter, who was the last family member that did not know. She was also OK with it at age 17. Great feeling.

Kelli, I am so glad for your contentment. You deserve it, as Stephanie said, your daughter has been introduced to it appropriately and knows you as a good person, so this cannot be a bad thing.

So happy for you. I told my step-daughter last week and we've since been for a manacure together and I feel she has been more supportive then anyone else. Enjoy your time together.

Congratulations! I came out to many of my family members this year (in addition to 2 I came out to a few years ago). The amount of love and support I have gotten humbles me.

    Kelli,

That's awesome. I told my sister last week. She's 42 ...errrr.....uuhhhh.... I mean 29. Don't tell her I slipped out her real age. She's like me though. She doesn't look it. Showed her some pix. She said it's weird to see her brother dressed as a woman, but I'm beautiful. She too wants to meet my new girlfriends and go out with us. Unfortunately, she's already committed to a birthday party on the 1st. Next time...

It is a great feeling to be accepted!
When I got married, I was blessed with a daughter(step) and two grandsons.
My daughter was the second person to ever know about me.
She has never had a problem and she is a great shopping buddy.
    That was 22 years ago.
    She lives in Louisiana now.
She also came home last night and we are going shopping today.
So, I can attest to the happiness that comes with acceptance.
