Underdressed Tonight!

So tonight I went to Goodwill, TJ Maxx, and Ralphs underdressed. I wasn't trying to be fem or anything, just wanted to make sure that the clothes that I tried would fit. I was wearing a corset, hip/butt pad, and my nubra. Sadly I couldn't find any clothes that I will taking pictures of that fit and were fun. I felt kind of awkward and by the end of the hour, the corset really began to hurt me.

I went home and I don't really like going out is for me at the moment. I think I enjoy just doing it at home, where I feel comfortable. Oh, when I got home I painted my nails the clear color and they are nice and shiny . I think I enjoy the fem stuff in the comfort of a controlled environment, but I don't think that going out is for me. I felt awkward and out of place and it didn't feel good at all. I am envious of those who have great shopping trips or fem outings, however, that is something that I personally don't enjoy. I know its kind of hypocritical to say that I am envious, but I don't enjoy it.

Please continue to post pictures of everyone's exploits, while I watch from the confines of a computer screen. Until I get the powers of Morph from the X-Men :-P

I hear you. I went out underdressed a couple times and it didn't do much for me. If anything, I felt awkward and concerned that someone might see my girl panties stick out of my jeans if I bent over. A dad with his 2 little kids came by, and it made me feel even more concerned about this. I kept checking that my shirt was covering my butt.

Good for you for trying though. Nothing wrong with enjoying yourself at home. Whatever makes you feel good!!

Just a thought the corset might be a little too much. You may want to start with some shapewear that is a little more comfortable. If you are going to be in drab and try on clothes this is still a good way to know if they fit. It is a little nerve wracking at first. Rest assured, most of the public if anybody is staring at other people looking for signs of men wearing women's undergarments, they are too busy in their own world.

Hi Kat, not to worry, I've been going out underdressed for years. I'm always in panties a bra, or ladies t-shirt {as I'm wearing now at work}. Never had anyone say a word. I've even had GG's give me a hug while wearing a bra {I know they could feel the bra} but never said a word....

I rode home under-dressed on the bus the other day, and I'm naturally fairly femme, long hair, plenty of plus sized curves.. I was pretending to sleep, and some guy left me a gift. Nothing expensive, but I felt flattered just the same.

I know how you feel I'm not big on the need to go out dressed. If I could 1/2 way pass it would be a different storie.

I am sorry you don't enjoy underdressing. In the winter months I wear panties and pantyhose and tights almost everyday. After a while you get used to it and I enjoy the feeling of feeling fem from under, but I do agree that there's no place like home for comfort.

Kat, a lot of the clothes you wore were tight and the longer you were in them the more uncomfortable and stressed you became. Try it again with panties, bra with small forms or padding, girl jeans without embellished rear pockets and a neutral girls sweater or top, and tennis shoes. You will blend unnoticed, the clothes will be comfortable, you will be dressed female from the skin out just as the other girls shopping around you are and if you don't get yourself nervious you will ENJOY the experience as a GIRL.

After this weekend, I put away all Kat's stuff. I didn't like what I saw and I guess I am very superficial when it comes to Kat's image. Maybe when I feel better about this...I consider this a virtual purge...*sigh*...I wish I had a better first time out...
