What do you see when you look in the mirror...

When you look at yourself in a mirror, what do you see? I'm referring to your face, and not necessarily all made up.
Me personally, have been noticing a woman looking back at me, hard to explain really, but somewhere my female side is pushing through more these days, or I might just be imaging things....

I walk into my office building every morning,that has a glass front, and think to myself "Fk, I look like a girl" when I see my reflection.

My hair is down past my shoulders after 2 years of growing it from nearly nothing, and I lost a lot of weigh in the past two years. Sometimes I get the jitters from knowing I made an image change, but for the most part, I'm glad I did it.
No, sorry, I'm thrilled I did it. ....I DID IT!!!

i think in reality we see what we want to see, its just a state of mind, i might be wrong, but when i am in male mode i see male, but when i do my hair in girl mode i see a girl, its not hard to change your state of mind when u change the basics of anything.

Thanks for you input ladies, much appreciated. You are probably right Naomi, and others haven't commented on it yet, well even if I wear some light makeup nobody really says anything either... I expected q lot of "are you gay" questions and snotty comments but until today not one negative comment. Well I would not know if they are talking behind my back. But who cares really.

I was absolutely startled once, about 30 years ago. I had avoided shaving and haircuts for a while and when I glanced in the mirror I saw a stranger. I may have been right, because I was starting down a relationship path which was really wrong for me.

Now I look in the mirror and wonder what could be.

I see the girl I wish I was. Tilly is confident,sexy,free willed,all the things I'm not in drab. Thats why I love her so much,she's the girl I've always wanted. In fem I sometimes daydream about dating my male side. Tilly is just a name for this 2nd person inside of me. She never liked other girls. Subconsciously I believe she caused me to devastate past relationships or attempted relationships. So in a weird way Im in love with a jealous woman lol Overall I see the perfect woman

For me, Alexis, it's mostly dependent on my hair. I look in the mirror at my face with my hair parted on the left and pulled back in a ponytail, like I usually wear it, I see my male self. But if I take the ponytail holder out, brush the part to the middle, brush it all out, and arrange it that way to cascade more across my shoulders, I see Amy. I don't even have to be fully "dolled up" on my face to do so, nor do I need the barrettes or headband I frequently wear in that mode. (But that all helps! )

I see a relatively handsome older gentleman. I've been fairly successful in taking care of myself, and even though I'd like to look like Antonio Banderas, looking more like Bob Saget isn't all that bad. Of course when madeup and dressed, I see a relatively handsome older woman with a little style and some class. I kind of like the old girl. Gee, I have two good friends in the same mirror!
