    Knee high boots

    My wife and I went to Sevenoaks today to suss out a hotel that I'm going to on Wednesday for a job interview. Whilst we were there we went into a charity shop. We got a pair of UK size 8 soft suede like knee high boots for just £3.00. One needed a new heel tip but my wife had a spare one at home. When we got back I tried them on first and we both agreed I looked good. Then she tried them on. Her legs are not as shapely as mine but they did just about fit her. She was relieved and said jokingly that she would have cried if they had been no good for her and look so good on me.

    I can't remember the souce but I found online a nice pair of dark brown knee high boots in my size (13W) for around $90 over a year ago. Even in drab I've gone out wearing them with my denim jeans tucked in. It's nice to pull up the side zipper, stand up, and feel confident! My wife took a picture of me a couple weeks ago outside in the snow. I'll be putting up pictures soon. I'm coming out---at least to my girl friends here!

    When you say knee high are you meaning over the knee or to the bottom of the knee?

    I have a pair (image) that come up to just below my knee:

    I agree, Here's a pair I bought and love. I've only worn them a few times so I can't testify as to how they wear yet. But I'm happy with these and another pair of black leather boots I bought.
