Tonight, I told a number of extended family members and friends. Quite a few of my friends and family already knew, but I felt like it was time. Today was significant for me as it marked 1 year since I decided to take control and start owning it. Support has been 100% positive so far and it keeps getting easier! I am still very worried about telling my dad and brother, but I knew it's something I need to do so they don't find out some other way.

Be cautious with important decisions around this time of the year. Maybe it's the Orange Halloween fog or something like that. I like to wait until after pumpkin days before doing impetuous stuff. In 1962, I found myself in the Army around this time of the year! That sure was a learning experience. On the day I got out of the service, I suddenly outranked a general! What a weird concept.

I don't think I am going to go entirety public. At least not in the form of a public announcement. Maybe I'll just have a few femme pics on FB and LGBT likes/interests. But most of the people I care to know about it now know.
