An interesting insight into why some men are attracted to us CD girls.

I was reading on another site a comment from a man wanting to date CD girls.
When asked why from other members he explained that he was attracted to CD girls because they make the effort to dress and act very feminine.

I’m only passing on what I read, I am making no claims that this is the reason for some men going after CD girls although I have had some interest from men on this other site myself. But a sexy b***h like Suzy should expect it I suppose and its just something I have to put up with. [Giggles]

    Isn't life fun.

When I was much younger, and hanging out in the gay neighborhood, I found that the men who were attracted to CD girls invariably-
-Were guys that wanted a homosexual experience, but could not admit it.
    -Had a wedding ring tan.
-Drove down from the burbs in their Volvo station wagon.
-Said their wives were 'totally cool with it'.
-Thought all cd's were cruising for meaningless one night stands.

I'm glad you have found some that are different, it restores some faith in human nature.

Suzy I think he left out the part that you have that something extra in your panties.

Ok for me what is strange is I like CDs as a guy too but for me I'm more interested in how they are dressed and how do they make themselves look so good and cute. I want to be able to do that

I believe this (the attraction), without disagreeing with anything Paula said (the intentions).
Over 10 years ago, I used to chat a lot and share pics in crossdresser chat rooms on AOL. It wasn't that hard to sort out the creeps, and I discovered that there were a lot of men with an attraction to CDers. Just as there are here on the forum normal respectable men with this CDing quirk, there are normal respectable men with an attraction to CDers quirk. (Intentions and activities are another matter. Since I never intended to meet, their intentions were never in need of discussion. As a CDer who liked attention but from a distance, I was getting what I wanted). And not just any CDer. As an over-the-top CDer for my own pleasure, I discovered that there were lots of men who liked the over-the-top, ultra femme look, and found it with CDers (not all, of course, just those who liked it for themselves). And, men with particular fetishes could find accommodating CDers. As a man who transformed to feed my own fetishes, I found it interesting to find men online who, like me, enjoyed conversation about something most others consider taboo. That they may have been gay, married, or whatever else was never relevant.
As always, "dress and act very feminine" is in the eye of the beholder.

Suzy, count that as number 7 on the top 10 list of excuses for a closeted gay/bi man to claim he is straight yet justify a homosexual encounter. That's right up there with watching porn for the storyline!

It always surprises me when men, and women too, find me attractive in a dress! What could be more fun than that? I dress like a classy old broad naughty librarian so that pretty much keeps the "one night standers" at bay! I've always liked "sleepers". You know, cars that look fairly plain on the outside with plenty of muscle under the hood. I'm a lot like that. Fairly modest and neat on the outside with plenty of excitement under my dress!

    Suzy,
You are so vain, vein vane, or is it vine.

lmao I agree! I have been finding it perplexing lately that as CD's, or those claiming to be, they want to wear jeans instead of a dress or such? come on, if you want to be that in tune with the GG's of today...Your probably not a CD at all because I think that to be a TRUE CD it's about the clothes and presentation, nothing more.

The follow on question for me would be how he would choose given the choice of dating a GG who made the effort to dress and act very feminine or a CD who made the same efforts. At some point in the dating process if there it intimate contact what is under the femininity is not going to be the same. If that's what the gentleman in question wants and there is a CD wanting his attention that's awesome for them both. If it's more like Paula suggested and he's using the femininity as a pretense that the intimacy is not with a man I can see that causing both parties harm.

In your case Suzy how can they help themselves motivations aside?

Slips and stockings. Without cross-dressers, any company that still makes those would go bankrupt in a week.

I think there is some truth in that!
But in reality IF I were as cute and sexy as Suzy I would be continuously be fighting off the men!

I believe it. I've been starting to wonder recentely when shopping for girly clothes if the manufacturers know that more men probably buy them than women.

Somehow I doubt the whole femininity argument, the more likely answer is that some dudes want to slide down the batpole.

Not that they're 100% gay either, more likely in-between but in this black and white society there isn't much room.
Too bad we don't live in a world where people can't experiment without going through various psychological barriers because of puritanical society.

Alternatively, more women are realizing they don't need to be made up and dressed to the 9s all the time to be eye candy for random men.
I'm sure you've read various things saying "I miss when women did [thing from the 50s]"

I think this might sound mean, but I don't intend it to be. I think this reason really is true for a lot of guys out there. I've talked to some CD girls about this before and found a lot of similar experiences. I'm on several dating sites and really, about 35% of the messages I get start with "I'm straight, but". Kinda sounds like they do want the experience, but are uncomfortable with the idea that that's what they want or something? I dunno.

I don't know about you Suzy, but no guy has ever hit on this old broad, and if I was ever noticed by a guy interested in dating a CD, he'd probably run off screaming after seeing my mug.

Before joining this site last year, I didn't find most CDs attractive, but after a little exposure on here, everyone started becoming attractive, maybe because of being able to identify. Making love to a CD would not be appealing, but I find that I'm possibly open to it with transsexuals. And they're not so different from us; are they?

But I imagine another reason there can be attraction for men to CDs is that people of the same sex tend to understand each other better, so it's easier to have relationships with people of the same sex in general. Women are from Venus; Men are from Mars. The sexes are different cultures and opposite sex cultures clash somewhat.

I dated a number of women before I got married. Never once did whatthey were wearing have an affect on our relationship. Their wardrobe spanned the gamit.

I truly believe that was Suzy has reported, and I've heard it before, is a well worn excuse/rationalization for having an experience that they want but are afraid tohave with a male presenting as a male. The perceived vulnerability of a CD might be what makes their rationalization possible.

    Just a thought.

Right about now, meaningless one night stands are sounding pretty appealing to me... Guess I'll have to go look around and figure out which bar in the 'hood has a lot of Volvo station wagons parked behind, and go haunt the place for a while... Stupid hormones!

LOL at "their wives being totally cool with it."

Why is it when I read posts like this , that it feels like a backhanded slap to gg's ? The reality is that the fashion, cosmetics, styles and EVERYTHING feminine starts with, is promoted for,by and marketed toward females in a multi, multi Billion dollar a year industry. There is nothing other then a gaff that is designed for the TG community specifically. Sure there are some gg's who may dress down, but every gg dress's feminine enough for them as they feel. I've been to many clubs both en fem and en hom, and have found that given who they are with and what the occasion is gg's are very feminine is both dress and manor , I suspect the person whom the OP quoted as CD's make an "effort to dress and act very feminine." is looking for something other then what he has found withing the gg world.
