It's normal. I get that burning desire sometimes when I see a woman in traditionaly male uniform. I look real close at thier makeup and jewelry and wonder why they look so feminine even with the male attire. I've even tried the elegant woman in the man's three piece suit look. Comlete with heels. Gender blending, Baby!
I've waited so long for this time. Makeup is so frustrating. Shaking hands and I look so old. This was a mistake.
My new maid's outfit is cute. Sure fits tight.
And then I step into the bedroom and in the mirror, I see a beautiful woman looking back at me.
    Smile, Honey! You look fabulous!

I don't see a problem with it, Sherrie. Lord knows I've felt that way on occasion, too! It might not even be a picture; it might be that I see a particularly-attractively-dressed woman, and I'd be thinking, "OMG I'd love to look like that."

All the time. On my way to work in the morning I drive through the local college campus. I can't tell is I spend more time ogling the young girls more because I want to be with them or be them.

Thanks, girls, for all your comments. I was really struck by the photo because it was advertising a product sold in that aisle of the store and all I could think about was her dress, etc. Well, at least they got me to look at the ad.

Why do u think you're "bad" for trying to look good? If u were, then ALL of us closet dressers r, too!

When we dress up at home most of us strive to look as shapely, sexy, in a word, HOT, as we can! That's the main attraction of closet dressing over dressing to blend to go out shopping, etc.

I can't imagine a closet dresser privately trying on frumpy things in order to blend? In fact, that mental image is quite amusing!

U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.

Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!

Definitely a normal reaction. I've had the same experience many, many times!

It is quite normal, but remember it was an ad. The model had the advantage of a make up artist, a hair stylist, high end clothing and a professional photographer and lighting. To want to go home and dress is normal, fun and OK. The bummer is that we (most pif us) can never look like the woman we saw in the ad.

Sounds normal to me - I drive by a Rainbow retail women's clothing store, near a Wal Mart I go to, and I always take a look at whats in the window. By the way there was an very pretty red sweater there this morning.

Last time I was able to go out dressed I found the small independent ladies dress shop while out driving one evening. There were some absolutely wonderful sequined dresses in the window such that I had to stop and just walk back to take a better look. Oh how I wanted to own one of those but I knew I'd never had the opportunity to wear it where I could do it justice ( and I suspect that as they didn't have a price tag they were out of my price range).

So coveting something you see makes you bad? No, I see it as a desire to improve and at least aim to look your very best.
