I feel the need to purge!

I have come to the conclusion that I really need to purge my woman's wardrobe . God only knows how many skirts ,dresses ,and tops I have spent countless $'s on. They all gotta go. Oh I'm not giving up dressing, it's too much fun. It's just that nothing fits anymore. After losing 30 lbs. every thing is waaay too big! It's so nice to be able to buy clothes in the misses' dept. instead of the plus size section. Went from 2x woman's down to misses 20 for tops and size 14 bottoms. Shopping is fun again and the clothes are much nicer. So all the "fat" clothes go into boxes in the back of the closet and I get to wear really nice clothes for a change.

I was ready to jump on you.....
    Happy purging

It would be nice to be able to give them away to some poor soul that has not lost all that weight.

You might want to think of boxing up the clothes until you know that the weight loss is here to stay. I know that my own weight fluctuates and it’s always nice to have clothes that fits when it does.

Way to go, a success story and you probably feel 100% better. Really a donation to a charity will even make ya feel better and I think if you get a receipt for the clothes it is tax deductible. Win win win situation. Look at all the fun you'll have getting the new hotter clothes. Once again well done.

I agree donation would be the best, and I am sure some lucky lady would be very happy with your taste in fashion.

Had just opposite. Had to get rid of 5 nice pair of 37" long women's slacks because my waist has expanded over the past few years and I can no longer wear a size 12. Do you know how hard it was for me to find slacks that length? Recently I've found another online source for te ultra longs.

Call it purging, downsizing, whatever, keep the weight off and continue getting down to a really healthy weight. I lost twenty plus pounds and my clothes fit better, male and female.

I was afraid it was the bad kind of purging.. but this is the other kind.. which is.. not as bad.

If you don't see yourself getting back to you previous.. then donate them to charity or perhaps you could help out fellow CD-ers?

Congratulations on the weight loss I would say keep a few items as a reminder of how big you once was and hopefully it will give you strength to carry on if and when you are feeling weak and want to give up.
