Background: 2005 I came to terms with my transgender issues. Friends family everyone I know has replaced "him" with Lisa. Every one except those I work with and for. Fast forward to Aug.'13 I have had enough of my life as I have known it.
I placed applications and resume's every where. I got hired on as "Lisa" for the Nations largest Flatbed carrier. Mind you I haven't been in a Tractor Trailer for more then 15 years. So I guess I had no business being in a truck in the first place. Got Fired! Got another job as a Drivers Helper with the largest package delivery service in the country. They looked at my ID and said that I would have to use my male id and name on everything that had to go into the government but, I could use whatever name I wanted to! Too bad it was only seasonal. It was great! People smiled when you walked up to their door and said Thank You. No one was mean. It definitely was a moving experience for me
