    First Day!

So today starts the first day of a very LONG process! I finished my first day of laser hair removal treatment. I got my face, neck and full chest down to just below the waist line done. Im not gonna lie though...it hurt like a B****!!!
All I can say is...if you are considering doing it, get as close a shave as possible!! And when you think you have gotten everything as smooth as you can, shave again! What you think is good enough wont be. I feel great though! My next appointment is on April 9th and I cant wait! The pain is only going to increase though as they raise the levels. I am going to be investing in lidocane cream for sure.
On March 4th, I have my first appointment for hormones. They have to get the bloodwork done but then after that, its shall we say, smooth sailing. Well, as much it can be with hormonal mood swings and everything else that goes with it! I just cant wait!
The longer I walk down this road I call a journey, the more I realize that it's not about passing or not passing. It's about being true to myself and being able to look in the mirror and say to my reflection... "Perfect"

I have to say I'm jealous! All this hair drives me bonkers! I hope that it continues to go smoothly for you. Can I ask where you picked for the treatment?

    Eva,
Good luck with the laser treatment. I dream about having sufficient money to remove enough body hair so I am not mistaken for Sasquatch. I applaud you for your commitment to such an arduous journey. Transition takes phenomenal courage and perseverance.
May you live long and prosper.

Though the road may be long, it's one step shorter now.

    Best wishes

I actually am going to Skin Cancer Specialists in Newnan. I got it on a groupon. I got 6 sessions for 3 areas. Face, neck, and full chest and stomach. It only cost me somewhere around $530ish? Not too shabby IMO. Gotta love groupons!

Oh yes ... I've only had full anterior face and neck and I can tell you those laser techs just love to keep pushing the envelope and trying to increase the intensity setting up and and up! ... but then they are trying to help get the best results. Beauty is pain ... right?
