Stopped by police !

This is an unexpected follow up thread to my ," Bit more of a reveal than expected ".
As I set off to walk the dog this morning a BMW X5 police car was parked up on the main road through the village, as I walked down the lane towards the footpath a second one was parked up. Just as I approached, the back window went down, I smiled and asked if I could help, he said a minor incident had been reported and had I noticed any suspicious characters. ( I was thinking OMG someone on the train must have reported something. ) By then he seemed to be talking more to my chest, that dam Wonderbra was doing it's job too well ! I tentatively asked what was the person wearing ? I held my breath hoping not to hear a black skirt and Tshirt but instead he said a red hooded jacket and black trousers with a deep scar across his face. He finished his conversation with my chest by giving the phone number to call if I see anything.
The police helicopter then appeared and seem to track me for most of my walk. when I got back home all the doors were locked, my wife realised something was wrong, I just explained that they were looking for someone wanted for a minor incident. She replied that she wasn't surprised they stopped me they were obviously looking for someone in disguise ! Little did she know !

I've been stopped a few times by police for minor traffic incidents. Often, they have no idea that I'm not a girl until they see my driver's license. My old license had me in shorter hair. They are often a bit surprised.

My favorite experience was when I was flying pretty, and I handed the TSA agent my ticket and driver's license. He looked at the license, looked at me, did that three times, and said "There's now way you're a guy". I smiled and said "Thank you" and he realized it was true. When I renewed my license, I had much longer hair which I put into a feminine style, put on some light make-up, and when she took the picture she zoomed in so that I look like a girl in the picture. Now they actually have to check the gender marker.

Now that I'm living full time as Debbie, I'm getting the name change and gender marker change. Waiting impatiently for the court date.

I was pulled over by a state trooper once while driving en femme. Seems he was trying desperately to stay awake since that was the end of his shift and it was early AM. The excuse was I changed lanes after only signaling for about 2 seconds rather than some unspecified longer length of time. He let me off with only a "warning." There was very sparse traffic and virtually no chance to interfere with anyone else, but he did see me from about 1/2 mile behind and needed some sort of activity to justify his pay for the day.

At the very least he was professional made no comment about what I was wearing and let me go with no charges.

Perhaps he was warning you to head home and avoid the suspicious character?

Best get used to guys talking to your chest, for some reason they are endlessly fascinated by "the girls!"

About a week ago I was out enfemme 100% and had to go thru a sobriety check point.
I was withing proximity of two local night spots so not unusual.
Pulled up with my window down the policeman shined his light in the window and asked if I had had anything to drink and where I was going.
I said home and I don't drink.
He said OK ma'am have a nice drive home.

Well, I've been looked up and down by cops swilling coffee in a convince store, to where I wanted to say "Take a picture it will last longer".... Of course your usual MotoMart customer is in flip flops and ratty t-shirts, and I come in in heels, I mean, waht man with a pulse isn't going to check that out, right?
How-some-ever.... I worry sometimes as, well, let me paint a recent scenario, I recently last my front license plate. I'm running late for class, (I'm full time on campus) and I'm in my truck with a bug shield that reads "Dodge Slayer"... There at the crest of the hill sits a brand new Charger in police trim! Luckily, he didn't seem to notice the plate/slayer combo....

I,ve had the close call but never pulled over.
One evening out fully dressed, headed to a spot that I like to walk. It happens to be near the main street that all the bars are located on, and a lot of the patrons will pass along the same area that I walk. So to see how busy the area may be, I cruise by the bars first. Well, as I turn the corner to head down the street with the bars, all I see are rolling lights up and down the street. Being as I was already committed, down the street I went. Had to sit and wait a few minuets for one squad car to move, and I continued on my way. As I make it through the gauntlet, one of them falls in behind me and begins to follow me. Turn for turn, for about 10 blocks or so. He was determined to pull me over I'm sure. I followed all the rules of the road to a T, and lead him right back to the bars where all his friends were. One of the smartest moves I have ever made I think. He stopped following me, and stayed with his friends.
Needless to say I didn't get to take that walk.

There re always exceptions to the norm, but luckily I haven't had a run in with an un-professional police person. I have been stopped twice dressed en femme late at night, or better stated early the next morning, for DUI checks and passed both, one being the full 45 minute interview, balance tests and breathalyser test. Both times the police were very professional. My only concern and a big one, was to get a DUI ticket with all of it's ramifications including costs and possibly driving restrictions.

The last time I was stopped be police was because my plate was expired. It was on my street and I was headed toward my house. I told him that I had ordered them online and they hadn't arrived. He asked for the printout that you are supposed to carry in the car. I had forgotten to print it and told him that. He let me go on.

The next morning my new plates came in the mail. This didn't have much to do with crossdressing but I always wear heels and makeup as well as some article of outer clothing.

I have been going pout to clubs for about 3 year now. When dressed I avoid drinking, unless I am planning on taking a taxi back. If you are out past 1 AM in a club area, it seems like the police will pull over anyone, nearly at random. 1st time, was out in San Francisco, staying in a hotel near the airport. I was in a a Hampton Inn and arranged to get a room near the rear exit. When I returned I found a bunch of construction guys, who were staying at the hotel, tailgating by my entrance. I did not feel like walking through them dressed; so I decided to head out for a short drive. Shortly after pulling out of the hotel lot I spotted a police car behind me. Ten seconds later the lights came on. This was the first time ever and I was really scared. He said that I had pulled out at a high rate of speed and had failed to stop at a stop sign (both not true). Eventually there were 2 cars/ 3 officers watching me do the sobriety tests. They had me blow the breathalyzer and it was 0. They let me go with a warning. The strange thing was that the next day I was returning from work to the hotel. A police car began following me, with no lights. I was not dressed. I pulled into the lot and walked towards the hotel as if nothing going on. The officer got out of his car. Called to me. Asked if I remembered him. Then, he politely said that he was following me because my brake light was not working. After he left, I used the crowbar to wedge the brake pedal. Lights worked fine. It was kind of creepy. Apart from this I have been 4 other times. Three for DUI stops, with me doing nothing more than driving to my hotel, and none with any drinking involved on my part. One I was stopped for NOT making an illegal left turn. The exit from that hotel led to a street where you would only want to turn left, the right goes into a neighborhood and a dead end. To be total legal requires turning right and making a weird u/turn. The officer followed me out of the lot and stopped me because my driving pattern was odd. He said most people just turn left and he would not have stopped me if I had done so.

We have a pink Crown Vic rolling around in Indy with a police light by the driver mirror. I think that is the fashion police.

Believe it or not, most police officers are just interested in getting home alive. If they stop you, a professional officer will know what he will be doing before he ever gets out of the car. While our feminine presentation may surprise him, believe me, police officers have see far weirder, mind blowing, just down right crazy things than finding a man in women's attire. It's a free country, so to speak, so as long as you're not drinking and driving, carrying other contraband, or doing any other illegal activity, the police officer is pretty not interested in you per se. If they are, the smart officer will still remain professional and on task and keep all private encounters, exactly that, private.

Nothing like a little excitement for your morning walk Teresa. It does sound like you handled it brilliantly and now you (or maybe it’s your wonderbra?) may have a new admirer in the local law enforcement. Maybe he we will back on your route tomorrow so be sure not to disappoint him. He did give you his phone number after all.

In the distant past, in another state where I grew up, I would have been terrified of getting stopped by the police as no telling what they might do with a CD before they arrested and humiliated me. Maybe that’s one of many reasons I suppressed CD’ing for most of my life. Nowadays I don’t see that as a big risk (unless I put myself in a bad neighborhood at the wrong time of day and do something stupid to look suspicious). The police in my neck of the woods are generally very busy (understaffed and overworked) and have more serious things to worry about and much more dangerous people to deal with than a guy in a dress.

And it always helps to have your dog along as the excuse to be out, good planning Teresa!

Gosh - around here the police can't afford BMWs. They drive Fords.

OTOH, my heart would be pounding whether the police were driving a Ford or a BMW.

WAAAAAIIIIITTTT - the cops in the UK drive BMW's? Here in the states it is either a crown vic or a dodge charger.

BMW's, Volvo T5's, Jags, Ford Focus ST's, Impreza's, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, and recently a McLaren Spider 12C (0-60 mph 3 sec, top speed 207 mph). In fact anything quick.

Police departments like the Ford Crown Victoria - Police Interceptor because it's roomy enough to be utilitarian, but not so big as to be cumbersome. It's fast, and reliable yet still very comfortable. Keep up with the routine maintenance and you'll get 300K out of a Crown Vic PI easy! Ohio State Patrol ran theirs for 100 - 150K and then auction them off to count Sharif departments, and small municipalities, and yes some private citizens get their hands on them to.
So why the Chargers now? Ford decided it was no longer economically feasible to continue the Crown Vic. However, departments are having trouble with the Chargers using oil, (highway patrolling) and eating breaks if it's a city car. So now the Taurus has been warmed over into an interceptor and departments can't rid themselves of the Chargers fast enough in favor of the Taurus.
