Last day in Vegas

So I have been in Vegas for three days now, and tomorrow we will be going home. My wife asked me to pack some of my girl things for a GNO in Vegas. I have been patiently waiting and finally, tonight, we will be going out! However, although I have been going out for years, to the CT Indian casinos and NYC, I am nervous as heck to go out tonight. There are SO many people here, concentrated into such a small area, that it is very intimidating. Plus the high level of inebriation, I feel like I did before I stepped out into the world as Victoria. For the girls that know, without a DLV type event going on, what are the safest most accepting venues for girls like us? Everything I've read seems like it's outdated, so I'm looking for recent activity. We only want to go mainstream and on the strip, and have heard that Paris is quite accepting. We are staying at TI, so we would probably walk there. How about the other venues, like Tao, or Pure?

On another note, we are looking into letting me fly pretty as we are arriving into ny real late and don't have to pick up the kids until the next day. This week could end on a very positive note!!

Its Vegas. No one will care. If some one reads you, it will be the highlight of their trip. Go out and have fun.

Never been there, but from what I've read and what I've seen on TV, I would think it's one of the best places to be out in public dressed (assuming you're in a nice part of town). As long as you don't meet up with anyone you or your wife knows, who cares if they read you for a CD?

I have only been out in Vegas at non-DLV times. On the strip, no one cares. They didn't care on Fremont Street either. Sure the odd tourist will stare and you will make their year with a good story. Outside of that, it is business a usual. You will certainly not be the only cross dresser out....

Vegas is easy to go out dressed, you get to have a pleasant chat with the prostitutes, they give you their card, "Be in your room in 20 mins" and when dressed they will give you a free critique as well.

Great for interaction, I love the place.

I agree with Jennifer, IT is VEGAS nobody cares they are in their own little worlds Have fun and fly back pretty & safely !!

I have not been to Vegas (en femme that is) but the shear level of people and fun, I am sure you will be fine as most people are concentrating on having a good time. It does sound like a great time for your wife and getting to fly pretty . . . very nice.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I know that in the casinos and restaurants, I'll be a-ok, it's the walk to the casinos and restaurant that's making me have a fit. I'm sure I'll be fine, hell, I have zero concern about the airport. As I've mentioned already, I go out all the time. But for some reason, I am getting that first time CD stepping into the world fear. Once again, thanks for calming the nerves!

Honey, I live here. Paris is fine. Cosmopolitan is okay, too. Wish I had known you were here. My wife and I would have liked to meet you. As far as the walk from place to place... don't sweat it. In a town where people routinely encounter 6 Elvis's in every city block, you are going to be a non-event. Enjoy your night.

I have spent a lot of time in Vegas this year. Mostly fultime for 3-4 days.
I go shopping for groceries or out to dinner or pulling some slots...going wherever I want...no issues.

Speaking from my own experience's, the day I first took the plunge and ventured into the RW, I soon realized that I was ignored by most women and that men were the only ones doing a 2nd glance.
No one screamed "CROSS DRESSER STONE IT!"
So after a while, I forgot that I was dressed and began to function in a somewhat normal manner. Of couse I would check my lpstick and hair periodically.
Stand tall and own the moment!

Have been up and down Fremont St. En femme sans wig and breast forms. Nobody gave me a hard time and spoke with many people. It was fun and people didn't judge me at all. I just added to the flavor of Vegas. Enjoy.
