    Cross un-dress?

I had a dream last night that I took a selfie with me in my favorite album cover pose.

I told my wife and she said, "I don't know... that's a lot of whipped cream."

The CLASSIC LP Album record found in every Salvation Army....go ahead ..look...it is bound to be there. Herb Albert is a classic... it is right next to Michael Jacksons Thriller, Peter Frampton, Donna Summer and The "Grease Soundtrack ...album cover art from the 60's takes the cake though....I buy alot of old albums based on cover art

25,000 calories and they are where they ought to be. On the outside instead on inside.

That was quite the daring album cover in its day.

That was one of the albums of mine stolen from the college radio station. Used to gaze at it for hours and not for the whipped cream. If only I could look like that.....but that was last century.

I remember this cover from my dads collection too! It always provoked some pretty strong feelings in my younger CD years.
First, I thought that being covered in whipped cream might just feel pretty darn good!
Second, I thought it would be fun and worth the calories to lick my way thru the cream to get to her sweet parts!
One of my other fave covers was on a cover of Paul Mariots "Love is Blue" album. Very sexy!

It would be fun to be wrapped in all that cream, but the true story behind the photo is that's all shaving cream except for the real stuff on her head and fingers. Apparently, real whipped cream didn't hold up as well. And recall that the song "Whipped Cream" was the theme song for The Dating Game tv show.

Can you imagine the uproar today if any band produced something like that as an album cover...?

And that during an era when feminism was on an accelerating growth path...

I thought this one might strike some chords here (apparently also controversial - can't imagine why..)

I remember that album well. My father was a real Herb Alpert aficionado, think he had all their albums. Yes it would be fun to try something like that. I do know whipped cream can be used for a lot of things and have tried a few myself with various partners. Oh well if I had on top what the girl n the album has I would probably try that type of pic myself. Alas not a lot to hold the whipped cream in place!

Wow, I have that album in my collection. Haven't listened to it or my other Tijuana Brass records for decades. I'll have to play them again soon.

I had my entire head covered in whipped cream once. (Pie fight. ... Long story.) I had to go shower, because the smell got really nauseating after a while.

The delight of the cover aside I enjoyed (and occasionally still do) the music as well!
"You are not an accident, nor are you malfunctioning. You are performing EXACTLY as coded." For many "Man in a Dress" is the worst atrocity commit-able; for me it's just reality. Wait, wait! You mean there is music on this album, too.
I never got past the cover.

Sorry to disappoint everyone, that was shaving cream. But it still is one of my favorite Herb Alpert Albums. I always had a thing for instrumental albums. I also love the Ventures. I also have quite a few of their albums.

Wow, loved Herb Alpert. I had all of his albums and yes this was one of my favorite album covers. There was so much emphasis on guitars back in the day that any group that used brass like the Tijuana Brass, Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears, really caught my attention. Thanks for the memories.

One of my favorite albums (for both reasons). Love anything from Herb and the Tijuana Brass. Those were the days of beautiful women gracing the covers of my albums.
