Don't feel bad IF you are a Forum Rookie...

and/or seldom post... Don't feel bad if you have NEVER felt any Shame or Guilt. "We have all felt shame or guilt at one time or another" is just one of the common Forum Myths. There are obviously many reasons to "dress". Both at HOME or OUT. And it would be silly [wouldn't it] to equate removing the clothes [when you were "done" with them] with shame or guilt???

I mean if you are cutting firewood with a chainsaw, and were done... and turned the chainsaw off, you would not keep on the [hopefully] gloves, eye and ear protection.

    Would you?

Obviously shame and guilt can come from all manner of CDing "issues".

"I couldn't get out of the clothes quick enough" and/or similar statements are VERY common around here. [to folks who READ]

For you folks who actually HAVE had an O here or there while dressed, DO you differentiate the difference?

If NOT, do you feel Shame or Guilt for using porn or men's magazines to release the hounds?

I certainly hope you don't think YOU CAN CONTROL what floats your boat or pushes your buttons?

Mother Nature simply is not going to allow it.

I've lurked enough to know that most of you are gentle sweethearts... and som are just b's. But this is a great site and enjoy reading about your experiences. I've been dressing and going out for years and not a lot of this is new to me... but its fun!
Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I hope I don't need to feel bad if I'm not a forum rookie. I'm not far beyond a rookie though.

I never felt shame or guilt for crossdressing, but I feel bad for all who have been burdened by such false guilt. It's like feeling guilty for having good taste.

I feel bad because until I get 10 posts in, I can't even access my own profile! But I get it... you can't be too careful these days and the internets are positively crawling with trolls and freaks and nutjobs, oh my!.. that's three... posts, that is.

I've been here on and off for years albeit under a different name for much of that time but I still don't feel like I've ever made any meaningful connections here although I learned a lot in my early days. I still soldier on though and hope that my posts have helped someone somewhere along the way. It's easy to get lost in a big city.
For years I hoped I was just a CDer but now I realize I am transgender and that's alright.

I can honestly say that I have been doing a lot of reading but very little posting. I should do more! I am new to this so I am trying to learn about myself as much as anything. It is great when I read something and it just clicks, so I can say thanks for the help!!!!!

Hi Wah, There is nothing to be ashamed of.
If you are ashamed then maybe you are doing something wrong

For me, I wouldn't call it shame exactly. It's more guilt of not wanting to be a burden on those close to me and fear of how people might react. I'm not fully in the closet anymore but those concerns remain.

I lost all sense of shame and betrayal years ago when I realised that I was not unique.

Noeleena - I love chopping and splitting logs, but you have to admit a chainsaw saves a lot of time crosscutting... and probably preserves a more feminine physique... (mind you, splitting logs ain't very conducive to petite shoulders... )

So this is 2014 - and I'm sure I read somewhere that psychologically, porn is now regarded as fairly healthy and normal (as long as it's of the 'regular' type... whatever the heck that is... ) - so shouldn't anything that assists with that also be free of guilt and shame...? It's just excess male sexuality at play, but it doesn't mean that EVERYONE here feels or is stimulated by the same things... I know I'm not... and what does...? will remain my business, thank you very much...

And I don't know what the forum myths have to do with thith.. or whether that'th Myth Thandra, or Myth Thammie, or Myth Perthephone, or even Myth Thometimeth_Mith...

After reading the op several times and being a (rookie) all I can add is :
Never pass up a bathroom when you need to go
    Never trust a fart
And never pass up a good hard on dressed or not
No shame or guilt here just having some fun with no control over floating boats or pushed buttons.
Sh## happens and I don't feel bad about it

I sleep all night and I work all day.
I chop down trees, I wear high heels,
