    How many here are exmilitary

Just curious to see how many are exservice or still serving
and how did you deal with your fem feelings during that time.
I'm ex Royal Navy and privacy while at sea is non existant.
still had the feelings just supressed them outwardly.
felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders after my 12 year stint.

probably felt like William Wallace crying FREEEEEEEEEEEEEDOM

Ex Air Force here. Carried feminine under garments with me wherever I went, wish I could have taken more but we do what we can under the circumstances.

Yep, unusually I have served in both the army and the navy..
Military police for seven years then navy diver for five.
Back then there was little or no compulsion to dress and I kept it easily surpressed.

Navy. At one time, I had a wig in my shop onboard ship. I can't believe I had the nerve to do that. Amazing.
Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you're right.

I did three years in the army during the Vietnam war. Thankfully, I never left the United States. I considered making a career of it, but ultimately decided it wasn't for me. I shut down the girl inside, and quit listening to her. That's probably one of the things that caused me to go for a different career. Despite the testosterone rich environment, I still acted and felt more female than male. This made for some uncomfortable situations. But that was a long time ago.

Forgot to mention that I did wear knee highs a couple times on road marches to prevent blisters. A Special Forces mentor taught me that trick.

US Navy. I dressed on my off time. I started hormones the last year before my enlistment was up. I started transition the day after I was honorably discharged from service.

US Army 71-74 Once I had my car with me I kept panties, stockings and garter belt in the trunk. Got married and went to Germany. Stated to under dress there.

Sometimes I make sense and that frightens me.

"RA all the way", as we said back in the late 60s. Enlisted for 3 years for GI Bill college funds - and experiences, some good some bad. I was way too concerned with other things to even contemplate crossdressing.

US Army 1968-1970 Europe. Really didn't have much opportunity until coming back home. Although I do remember driving back from a tdy assignment (enfemme). When I got near the border crossing, I panicked turned down a side road and changed.

1983- currently still serving /USAF Air Reservist full time. I am a Logistics Specialist. I never let dressing get in the way of job. I was suppose to meet Stacey B down south couple years ago but we were to be restricted to base for that one week trip.
Escapism isn't necessarily bad, but is definitely unhealthy in the long term. While helpful in the short term, things will degrade over time. At some point, the escapee will have to face the issue. Things simply blowing over isn't really going to happen in many situations.

US Navy 1961-1967. At sea rating so had very little space of my own. My off time overseas was spent meeting the people of the place we were ported, and just enjoying what they enjoyed doing. Never was a bar hopper or a b-girl cruiser. Did like home made dinners I was invited to, quite often. Have always been more comfortable with girls and women

US Army 1999-2005 (not including the 4 years as USMA). tank platoon leader, Scout platoon leader, Company XO, Bn staff. During college suppressed it completely. After graudation would dress in privacy of my apartment and on weekends when i could get away, i'd drive to Austin or Houston and enjoy being a girl.

Four years US Army, including a short Iraq tour. I'd probably still be in if I had not developed medical issues immediately afterward .... I limited my fem time to weekends at home and confined it to panties, as I thought it was a fetish phase.
