I have finally reached my sweet spot. Today I go into work and at lunch I have the last coordination meeting with HR. After that, they tell my director's staff in an afternoon meeting and then I tell my team. Tomorrow and Thursday I have a free for all telling those that I want to tell (it is a 3000+ person company). When I go home on Thursday, the male presentation is done. Work is actually not going as well as I want from the actual work perspective. Just one of those times we all have. But that won't stop my smile!

Thank you everyone! For a change, I am glad I have a lot of meetings today. It is keeping me distracted.

Step one is down. I just met with HR to review how to go forward. I have to say that they have been fantastic. In a nutshell, from the very beginning they asked me how I wanted to do things. It had been ten years since the last person transitioned on the job (and this is a 3000+ person division). So they let me make the decisions and in the end, all of that was in the final plan but one that I can certainly deal with, on how to communicate things out.

I do have to watch it as I can feel emotions bubbling up strong. Can't cry in front of the guys yet.
