What Did You Not Find Out...

Saw a Reddit thread today that asked the question: Married people, what did you NOT find out about your SO until after you were married?

I expected to see at least one "crossdress" reference but to my surprise there were none.

Not sure it it's that rare, or if people are just not saying anything about it.

    Anyway - weird.

Melissa, I'd bet they're not saying anything as its still very stigma loaded.

Tinkerbell has it, we must not forget the stigma problem and remain within our circles as much as we can.
Only broadcast it to the friendly natives.

Being a crossdresser is commonly considered a negative thing for a guy to be. And as such, it's not something that a wife or even ex wife usually wants anyone to know about, that she 'picked' a girly guy as her mate. So you're not likely going to find someone advertising to the world that she has a crossdresser as a mate.

There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.
