I was across the pond in Manhattan last week with my wife and got caught up in the "12 days before Christmas" pub crawl melee where hundreds of like minded individuals don Christmas fancy dress and assemble in Times Square before dissipating across NYC to spread Holiday mayhem.
Met a party of "Mrs." Santas who asked me to join them but, as I am still closeted, had to decline as my wife is only grudgingly accepting.
Still, a trip to New York is always uplifting and the dreams of what could have been will keep me warm during a cold winter back in the UK...
