I have only been out, once and that was to a bar but I would say wanderround the shops would be good.
Whilst traveling around the UK it has been mostly Tescos, Sainsburys and other grocery stores.

I have spent a week in Provincetown twice. Everyone was accepting and I had a great time at restaurants and bars. This gave me the courage to start going to malls. I now do this as well as go for a walk in downtown Boston in the entertainment areas, and no one pays any attention. It is a great feeling. Get dressed up and just do it.
I go anywhere I go in drab, just not in my town.
anyplace that isnt a closet is ok with me. That gets old real quick......
