hi girls, just thinking do any of you read more books that have a more fem bend when your in your cding mold,for myself i cant really anser this, for as long as i remember i am a book lover and ihave always been interest in womens issues and i just love gossip,even when i go to dr office those womens magazines call to me.but anyway rigth now im reading a great book by the late mary travers called a womens words, i recamend it to everybody ,no matter how your dressed. so for fun what are you girls reading . lets hear , you know we cauld start are own book club ,right hear online if they let us . girls just want to have fun . love hugs lynda

Just finishing Katie Flynn (still waters). but i do like to read Ella Dean series of books and Mary Jane Staples series.
but I've become hooked on Karen.e lea (educating Danielle) fictionmania.tv/searchdisplay/authordisplay.html?word=2776
I cannot stop reading it i must of read it six or seven times in the last four months

As my dressing has progressed so has my reading of "chick" literature. I don't have any specific authors. I'll just go to the local book stores and peruse the bargain bins for something that strikes my fancy. Sometimes I find a winner and other times a dud. I prefer romantic fiction but haven't tried any of the mass market bodice ripper books.

While I may read a magazine if it strikes my fancy, for the most part I'm disillusioned with most woman's periodicals. About the only things they were good for were new recipes!

I don't do this as an activity while dressed. I read what ever and when ever I want or have time.

Yeah, my reading tastes, which are pretty eclectic, don't change with my clothes. I read some books that are probably more geared towards (or marketed towards) women and some that aren't, no matter how I'm dressed.

I have a Kobo ereader a lot like a Kindel and I find myself downloading womans books even when in drabe.

I read all sorts of booka, regardless of "target audience". Last week, I finished Margaret Atwood's new book of short stories (I forget the title, and don't feel like looking it up right now). Next on my list is Welcome to the World, Baby Girl, by Fannie Flagg. After that, I will get online to see if there are any new books by Lara Lippman or Anne Tyler that I have not yet read.

Books are books , magazines are magazines , apart from the obvious pornography magazines I think most are gender neutral , yes even Vogue and Cosmo have articles aimed at men nowadays. If it's got words and looks vaguely interesting I'll read it 😀

Since I retired besides CDing, I've been doing a lot of reading. So I think I have been catching up on both. I'll read almost anything and had started with Edith Wharton. I seem to like historical novels. I also joined the reading group at the library, I go in drab and so far I'm the only male that attends. Maybe I should find another group and go dressed. I've always been into general Sci-fi/fantasy. I've never really viewed any particular gender preference in my choices.

not the biggest book reader but when i get a book i like i cant put it down.
finished reading black hawk down on the bus home from college today so I watched the film when I got home, after dinner I was listening to the soundtrack all evening and then discovered id spent most of my evening browsing clothes on amazon

Thinking of picking up American Sniper tomorrow while im in the city at college, afraid ill end up on amazon again though

I read about 10-12 books a month on my Kindle, mostly mystery/thrillers. Every now and then, I'll download an erotica book, always with a cross-dressing theme. Too many of those type turn out being cuckold/forced-feminization types, which really isn't my thing, but some of those stories can be pretty good if the author is talented enough.

My wife has a stack of the typical women's magazines, but most are either too 'homey' with baking or decorating ideas, or some of the glossy expensive ones have too much of a politically correct agenda to them. Don't need either of those types. I'd be happy with the old Sears or JCPenney's catalogs! Gawd, the hours I used to spend perusing those!

I've always identified with female protagonists in literature. It's probably one of the reasons that "To Kill A Mockingbird" is my all time favorite Amerikan novel. Being a Girl Raised In The South (G.R.I.T.) I also enjoy the works of Eudora Welty and Flannery O'Connor.

The male part of my psyche enjoys novels by Charles Bukowski, Charles Willeford, James Lee Burke, Robert Crais, Edward Abbey, Elmore Leonard, Phillip K. Dick and John Steinbeck.

If it's a good book won't judge it by the gender of the author.

I'll read anything except for the very detailed and graphic horror authors. Sci fi isn't my favorite but I routinely read one. I have a kindle and keep about 30-40 books on it regularily. There are lots of sites where you can get free or very cheap downloads. One site even has a lbgt section.

I love Anne Perry Mysteries. They take place in Victorian England and one of the main characters is a woman, Charlotte Pitt. I love to identify with her character. I also love the classics and have always been a fan of the Bronte sisters.
