i came across this site and in particular these example photos that i am just salivating over. i will save my pennies and i vow i will purchase at least one pair of stainless steel shoes locking of course my heart is pounding as i write this and i am all a flutter i must keep myself a bit more RESTRAINED in the future (anybody want the keys perhaps???)

Not sure I could wear something that tall... or even why I would WANT to. I had to chime in on this thread though - I do have a thing for shoes. I don't think I'll ever have enough of them.

There's a reason they look like objects of torture. Elegant objects of torture, to be sure, but objects of torture nonetheless. I'd almost imagine seeing something like those in the final scenes of Braveheart on that executioner's tool bench.
