I'm divorced, so no problem wearing what I want. My female sleeping attire consist of several colors of Shadowline nightgowns and panties.
For both of us usually panties and a nightie. A couple of nights ago I slept in my shorts and wifey asked if anything was wrong.
Sweat pants and a t shirt. Sometimes more layers, sometimes fewer. Our apartment (3rd floor of a rowhouse) hits some real temperature extremes.

Mostly wear my panties and an XXL t-shirt. My wife doesn't want me to wear a night gown because she gets too hot. She wears panties and a nightgown for the most part or flannel pajamas during the winter months. We haven't tried a cami or a short nighty. I am happy with the t-shirt and panties and so is she.

I wear a ratty old tee shirt that has been through the washer/dryer too many times. It is really comfortable. On the bottom I usually wear a white Vanity Fair nylon brief.
I wear nighties, usually cotton but sometimes nylon with tiny straps. My wife bought many of them for me and continues to be a supportive partner.
I'm fully underdressed now, day and night, including forms. I wear a nylon nightie since I started dressing in front of the wife again. Her only comment on my new nightie was that it looked small on me. I opened the button in front and it looks much better, but still too narrow at the shoulders. But this one (purple), is silkier than the pink one. I hope to find a silk one some day!! ooooohhhh. ha ha
For me the only acceptable night attire is a long nightgown. I prefer the classic gowns by Olga and Shadowline but these are hard to find these days. Thankfully there are many other brands that make long, feminine gowns with lots of lacey decoration. I don't like to wear knickers in bed as that just feels like too much clothing for me and I like to stay cool at night. Parter favours shorter night gowns but also very feminine style.

Most nights I sleep in the buff and my fiancee always wears very feminine night gowns, on occasion I will wear a nightgown or slip.
In the hot summer, only in the buff. yet in the cold winter, nighties. indeed. No panties though. Nice to give the lower part of your body a rest.

DADT marriage, so big t-shirts and boxer briefs for me. When my wife was away on a business trip, panties instead of boxer briefs. When I am away on a business trip, nightgown and panties for me!
My wife and I wear matching long gowns, always satin or nylon. In cold weather we just add a cotton t-shirt.
