Hi, there was a time when I was nervous when picking up a cute dress or taking my time deciding on whether I should buy a certain item because the SA's are watching.
I have spent this summer browsing makeup and women's clothes at various stores. It's been great, I browse stores on my free time, sometimes en femme!
I have made over $70 on purchases of much needed cosmetics and another sum of money on clothes and shoes.
Fast forwards to today, I went to a women's boutique for used clothes hoping to find items that I missed when they were new in department stores. I found a nice pink peplum top which I needed to add to my collection. The employees were really nice as I was browsing, after about 5 minutes, a young girl told me that this is the women's section and that they have a small men's section in a small corner. I smiled replied with "it's ok", she responded with "oh ok, were you shopping for anything in particular?" I told her that I was just browsing and told her "thank you."
It wasn't nerve-racking but it was also great at the same time, she then left me and went her marry way. I was continued with checking out the isles of skirts and dresses and I was so comfortable as I had the intention of making a purchase. It was a great experience for me and I will right down mentally in my book of experiences.
So, my lesson is to shop with confidence and own up to it. If you like it, then buy it
Have a great day
I was unable to buy anything as the top's zipper was damaged and not worth fixing:P
