When dressed you should be going to the ladies room,, Just my opinion
I never go out dressed so I don't know what I would but I imagine I would have a hard time going into the ladies room even if I was dressed but then if my wife was along I could have her check first to see if anyone was in there or have her go in with me. I have noticed more and more places now have family restrooms which would be nice for those occasions.

Public urinals scare me as it is. I dont think I could have gone in either. There is probably a Phobe word for my fear but i dont know it. Lol
You are equally entitled to use either restroom. I've only ever come across the situation once and that was at Funny Girls in Blackpool.. the advice from the staff when I asked was an appraising look up and down at my presentation followed by "if it was me, I'd use the ladies".
A different situation of course, but I think the general understanding is that you are entitled to use the restroom of the gender you are presenting. But if you want to use the mens, that's fine too.
Many Years ago during my outings we would go to the mens room. Use a toilet stall. Thingss were a bit different about 15 years ago. My recent Outing just a few weeks ago I asked our accompaniment friends about using the restroom. They escorted me to the Ladies Room. I Used the stall as I would have. How Ever I barely could go due to nerves. I haven't been out in years until then and being in the ladies room was new. But I should be good on our next outing. Glad It was Friendlyt place.

I think using the ladies room would make me uncomfortable.
At the top of the mountain I used a stall in the men's room. I had to wait in line for a few minutes to get one. The urinal did not have any partitions between them. While waiting I ran into a couple members of the Combat Vets Biker club. They were very respectful. They did stop to watch when one of the guys at the urinals looked at me and said "Really?" I replied with "Really!" He said he was not commenting about me, but his little brother who was be hide me. I told him "That's alright. This is America and you are entitled to your opinion. It's ok." He did not know what to say, and went on his way.
I'm thinking the bikers probably had a good laugh over that one. The poor guy was so embarrassed.
I'd use the women's room out of courtesy to the men who might enter. Regardless of how well or poorly I may present, I can't imagine myself standing at a urinal in a skirt, mainly because I really don't go out of my way to attract attention to myself.

I never use urinals, never, I hate them. I use the stall. If it was me, I'd use the mens room because I am man, even if I'm crossdressing and with makeup all made up, I'm still a dude. I m not obliged to any courtesy because I have as much right as anyone else to use the restroom of my gender. But well, thats me.
The word"you should use this or that" is what disconcerted me from post 27.
I'm not gunna lie....I will dip into the guys bathroom once in a while for fun.....or sometimes I just dont care or the gals line is way too long and sometimes I even found my gal pals standing at the urinal when I walked in ......you havent lived until 3 cd's are all sharing the same toilet crossing streams.....ladylike ? no.....real ??? yes xoxo
However, it must have seemed and felt very awkward.
If the boy were young enough, dad could simply tell him, if he even asked, that some men like to dress up just like women do. If dad doesn't make a fuss over it, the kid will consider it just another normal variation of dressing, such as what the bikers were wearing. It will be a different world eventually. Just not in time for me.

There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.
Hi Maxi, I'm still pondering this one, It's going to take some deep thought.

I don't stand to pee when I'm dressed as Krisi, even at home. Actually, it would be difficult because of being tucked and wearing padded panties. There's a risk of an "accident".
Dressed as a female in public, I think using the female restroom would be the proper thing to do if there's no unisex or family restroom available. Of course if you can't possibly pass or you're not trying to pass, the men's room would be more appropriate.
As for the comment above "You are equally entitled to use either restroom.", don't count on it. In some areas there may be laws giving you the right to use the ladies restroom if you are dressed as and trying to pass as a woman, but in other areas, you must legally use the restroom that matches your birth certificate, driver's license or what's between your legs.
The chances of being arrested for using the wrong restroom are slim unless someone else is offended and calls the management or the police, but there's the possibility of it happening. There's also the possibility that a male bystander will take offence at you using the ladies room while his wife or daughter is also using it and he might decide to defend his wife's or daughter's honor by teaching you a lesson. Again, a slim chance, but entirely possible.
Nobody ever said being a crossdresser would be easy.

Definitely the ladies room....all the time! A few weeks ago, I was brushing my long hair before leaving the ladies room and a few women complemented me on it! Yes, I was in the right room!
