I also have lace up heeled boots that I wore with my cat woman costume last year too

Finally i'm going to work on the scythe (probably a 7 or 8 foot staff painted black with a foam/paper blade that has a metallic painted finish to it

I'll post pictures once I have it all together

I used to believe this, now I'm in the company of many tiggers. A tigger does not wonder why she is a tigger, she just is a tigger.

I like what you are putting together. Last night while out for dinner I wore a long black pleated skirt just like the one you are getting. Question is you have the pleated skirt, the bust revealing dress with a hood, and the black hood cape, sounds like some duplication (dress-skirt, hood and hood), or no?

Lady Death would certainly be a great costume! I'd love to see how yours comes out.

I'm going to a party this year as a 60's-70's "Flower Child", a hippie girl with a long fringed suede vest, peasant blouse, jeans, boots, peace sign necklace and earrings, headband, and pink tinted round wireframe sunglasses. I'll also be using fluorescent paint crayons to paint flowers and peace signs on my face and arms. It will be the first time I've ever done a female costume for Halloween.

There is some duplication but i'm going to alter some of it. I like the sleeves and top part of the one dress, I like the flowing maxi skirt and I love the deep hood on the other

Great idea, I have thrown the dressing up idea out there (Go to rocky horror as Frankfurter) I don't think it is going to happen.

Can't wait to see the final version. Please do post pictures when it is put together.

Looks interesting, i've never done anything like that. However someone called it Lady death, when really its female death, because there is an actual comic character called Lady Death, both would be cool costumes. If i find a party i'm try to design an easy Princess Peach costume to throw together, would be my first outing in some form of full fem. so i'd so Go for it girl!

I too have longed to dress in a women's costume for Halloween and have tried several on but I have never bought one since I haven't found a place to actually go.

I love that outfit idea Sheila, but what will your title be? The GrimTrim Reaper? A great look and I like the hooded top and flowing sleeves which I would love to adapt into my Witch theme.

Had a sneak of your profile and the picture on there is fantastic by the way.

Great outfit. Love the skirt (well i love all pleated flowing skirts). Trying to convince my wife to throw a Halloween party and trying to get the guts to go in a female outfit. Not sure it will fly, but i like the ideas i see here. Tks!

Looks good. I kind of wish I had seen this post before I bought a German Beer Maid Costume from Amazon. But maybe I am more built for a bar maid?

    You girls I so talented.
I haven't even thought of it yet. Not sure if I still have the courage to go out like that.
Then looking at Sheila's picture, she looks gorgeous, so I think I need much more practice with make-up.

I cant stand to fly, I'm not that naive. I'm just out to find the better part of me. I'm more than a bird, I'm more than a plane, I'm more than some pretty face beside a train. Its not easy to be me.
