I do this occasionally (skirt & beard). Easier in the city I think, probably not an option where I grew up.
It's not the same for me as going out femme. Related reasons that I do it, but definitely not the same experience...much more two-spirit or fluid, usually something I do with people or places I feel more me (like bike or plant-head events vs.getting dolled up and going downtown at nite.)
