    Trans girl waitress.

I went to a place called Drake's for dinner tonight and one of my trans sisters has gotten a waitress job there!!!
Was dressed 50/50 mode like always found a table and was browsing the menu when a waitress came up and welcomed me and asked for my drink order.
While I was waiting I see a girl in her 20's walking up to a table attending to customers.
Didn't think much about it and went back to looking at the menu when I hear Hi Tracii nice to see you.
I look up and its Carrie from my trans group!!
She looked fantastic to say the least and HRT has been very kind to her.
We chat then have a hug and she goes back to work.
My waitress comes back to take my order and asked so you and Carrie know each other?
I said yeah we have been friends for a few years. She says I like her a lot she is a hard worker and fun to work with.
I will say I am jealous of how HRT has transformed her into a beautiful young lady.
To be in my 20's again things would be very different.LOL

    Traci,

this is the sentence i repeat to myself at least once a day. i'm happy for the next generation as they are starting so much earlier to find out their path and HRT works so much better at a young age... but i am indeed jealous and would love to turn the clock back a bit for myself also.

    hugs

Niki that is so true, if I were in my 20's there is no doubt in my mind I would do HRT and transition.
Times are very different these days.

    Traci,
Things might be different for me if I were twenty again.

I worked in a coffee lounge on Sundays as a waitress many years ago.

The name of the place? "The Birdcage." :-)

Tracii, I see more and more Trans people out and about now. I am on some dating sites and several women on their state they are trans women and dress as one. Not sure how it is working for them as most people I see list themselves as straight. I have been tempted to write one, but so far have not taken the time.

Amy I was on Hot Or Not dating site and stated I was trans and only posted girl mode pics.
I got quite a few hits on my profile and even a few dates so those sites can be fun.

Tracii, were the contacts/dates you had, with people who presented as male or female ? I think I read you were bi, so not sure which gender you were seeking or both.

Amy there was one GG that was interested and I did meet her for coffee but she was married.
I'm not into breaking up a marriage and I told her that.
I stated I was gay so I did have some nice dates with a few guys and we do still chat and go out sometimes.
It was worth it to try if you are trying to date of find the right person.

It is great that the younger generation have so much more information to inform them of there options and that the world is a little more tolerant of TG. But I would never change the life I have led thus far. It got me here and here is a good place to be. Still a little jealous of your friend though.
