    Made it home!!!

So my wife Beverly and my best friend Kim brought me home from the hospital today. They had me walk this morning and there was no blood so they let me go. Yesterday's walk caused a lot of bleeding and concern. It was an odyssey for sure! I couldn't even attempt to describe it all. Dr Satterwhite is an artist he said it all went very well. Tomorrow I will take the packing and catheter out and start dilating.

Suzanne... Glad to hear you're back home and all is going well. Nice to be able to recover at home in a familiar environment with people who love you. Take it easy and don't push yourself.

    All my best.... Jennifer

Suzanne, I'm so happy to hear your doing as well as may be expected following surgery. You're a tough and inspiring lady. Nikki

So glad you're doing okay! Congratulations on making it home.

Glad all went well and sorry I couldn't come by the hospital to see you.
We'll get together in a few weeks when I'm not traveling.
    Send my love to Bev.

Well, so much for a bit of a relaxing period to recover! Glad the recovery staff got you up and out as quick as they did. People almost always recover faster when prompted (prodded?) to get up and get back to routine after major surgery.
I'm so glad you have got back on your feet and are around the ones you love.
Be yourself. Everyone else is taken!

If you made it home, I only have one question. When is the next marathon? Rest well and whatever you think you can do, just be easy and don't push. Let the stitches have time.
