    Bet at Work

I have a bet with the vice president of our company that a particular loan will not close tomorrow, despite reassurances from underwriting. I told her if it closes tomorrow I will wear a wedding dress. She's busting her ass to make it happen! I love it!

I upped the bet... told her I would wear a dress everyday for a week if they got the loan closed Friday.

Sadly the loan isn't going to close. Got pushed back til next week.

I thought I found a way to wear a dress at work.

Well, maybe it will close anyway. A close is a close, right?

It would be a dream come true to dress at work, but unfortunately my jobs have always been very masculine. Wouldn't have worked too well!

But, as I said, I would absolutely out myself as I would not be able to be Christina without being feminine.

I have fantasized about having a job where I could go as Christina every day. Not in this lifetime I'm afraid.

Let us know if you can do it!

    Toni,
Suggesting a bet like that has got to make them think you're a CDer , that's assuming they don't know already .

Maybe just turn up anyway and tell them you'd been told the deal had gone through .

I'm quite certain our vice president knows that I dress, I mentioned to her last week that I'm looking for a really awesome evening gown for my drag show.

No, I'm not a professional drag performer. I do it occasionally for fun because I enjoy it.

That would be a truly fabulous way of outing yourself, if you have the nerve!

God I hope that contract closes.

Yes, some coworkers know I am CD... actually, they think I just do drag queen bingo on Sundays. I don't think they understand how deep this Rabbit Hole actually goes.

So, if you win. You know, the bet thing. Does she have to wear a tuxedo and a mustache?
I've waited so long for this time. Makeup is so frustrating. Shaking hands and I look so old. This was a mistake.
My new maid's outfit is cute. Sure fits tight.
And then I step into the bedroom and in the mirror, I see a beautiful woman looking back at me.
    Smile, Honey! You look fabulous!

So now they have a perception that you are RuPaul or one of the queens on that show...that should work well in a bank

Did the bet also include wearing a wig and makeup?
