Yes, congratulations!
I'm a bit worried though that you could get in trouble when you travel for blacking out so many bits on your passport

Super congratulations to you.
(Now you can use the bathroom!!!)
Joking aside, how wonderful that North Carolina, of all places, allows one to get GCBCC. (Gender Correcting Birth Certificate Change). Out of curiosity, is it handled as an administrative action, or do you need to appear in open court and tell the world that you are asking to have your birth record corrected?

. . . and now, On With The Show!
The thing that amazes me most, Donna Jo, is that the Passport Office let you wear glasses!

Time for a change.
It was a matter of submitting a notarized letter from my surgeon that stated "irreversible surgical change" had been made to my genitalia, a copy of my name change decree, and a copy of a photo id, plus money. No personal appearance needed for the new birth certificate, and the 'old' one is now sealed. I had my name changed in Louisiana and no court appearance was required there either.
Congratulations Donna!!!
What a wonderful feeling it is when you get to see the correct gender on all your documents! 💜💛💚
