Welcome back Jane. Those after pictures really do show what FFS is all about, especially ones with several procedures being done. Go slow, heal fast and just know that you have a lot of support here for your speedy recovery. Thanks for sharing.

    Dear Jane,
Congratulations on your successful surgery. I'm sure you will be a Very Beautiful Woman soon. I wish I would have transitioned when I was much younger.
I pray you have a speedy recovery.
    Sincerely,
    Mary Elizabeth Jordan

Jane, how are you feeling? How has your recovery been? I hope you haven't been under too much discomfort or pain.

It's been a little over a week, so if you're not already, I recommend going outside and taking 20-30 min walks every day. It'll help you to slowly get your energy back and you'll feel a lot better!

Swelling is still strong especially in my neck, but massage does seem to be helping. The worrst is despite sleeping elevated a night, I tend to swell the most overnight between 10pm and 6am. Pain meds and drinking lots of water also seem to be helping - it's just going to take time for my body to recover from THAT much trauma all at once... Just taking my pills as prescribed, doing massages , and trying to stay patient and positive as things heal.

Stick to the program, Jane. I'm seeing great progress in the lastest photo compared to the earlier ones! Miyra's advice to walk every day is a good one. I had three bouts of a Lyme's related reaction that put me in the hospital for weeks each time. My legs were not effected and I found walking a good way to take my mind off the problem and it made my recovery much easier. Moving is a great aid towards recovery. Good luck!

Looks like you are healing well. A friend in area is also recovering from recent FFS.

Hope your house hunting goes well in DC. Prices can be all over the place, in town or out, some suburbs better than others. Working at Pentagon or elsewhere.

Might run into each other some day.
