Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.
I like the look when in the mirror or if I take any photos, but it's more of a tactile and psychological boost than an aesthetic boost. I think I might feel sexy if bras were not such a gag trigger for my wife. When standing in front of the mirror wearing a bra and panties, I tend to feel both the pleasant peace that wearing it brings me AND the sense of rejection I feel from my wife, even if she doesn't see me wearing it.
I think the problem is about the face which obviously remains the man's face. A good makeup and wig selection can help fixing that.
Question: How do I think I look in my sexy bra and panty sets? Does my wife comment?
Answer: I fantasize that I look like my wife because we frequently wear matching bra and panties.

I am happy to report it does happen outside of movies. I have been lucky to be married to the most wonderful woman in the world for the last 25 years. She not only accepts me and all my foibles but positively encourages me to express myself. We both parade around in bras and panties. In short, not pretty, but as others have mentioned, it's not all about aesthetics, but also about tactility and freedom of expression, so it works for me. Has my wife commented? Frequently and always in a positive way. Did I mention I am married to the most wonderful woman in the world?
