Smile Applaud For Yourself and Others

    Ladies

Last night I was trimming a wig. It came to me that we should applaud ourselves for what we have learned. For the most part, I like most, have had little to no coaching in anything girly. Some of the things I learned from reading on the internet, from books and a lot of trial and error.

    We have had to learn:

    1. Clothes/shoes and size conversions (M to F)
    2. Style of clothing (what goes with what)
    3. Fabrics
    4. Girly hair styles
    5. Maintaining wigs (cleaning, styling and cutting)
    6. Jewelry
    7. Bra and breast form size (this one was hard, I wanted too big - )
    8. Make up (not just throwing it on)
    9. Skin type and tone for make up
    10. How to act girly
(walk, stand, sit, hand placement and gesters)
    11. Talk properly (still working on this one, hard to do alone)
    12. Painting finger and toe nails and not make a total mess
    13. Skin care
    14. Shaving legs and anywhere else desired

These are just a few things and I am sure that I have only touched the tip of the iceberg.

Think about where you were and where you are now. Look at what you have learned and taught yourself.

Applaud for yourself, all those you have helped and those you will help.

Mostly applaud for each other, truly we are greater as a whole.

    Hugs

Post I forgot some important people

I did not intentionally leave off those that helped me. There were several friends that have come and gone through the years. I owe them special thanks for helping and sticking with me through highs and lows.

    Donna,

You are so correct. Especially the friends part

If it wasn't for the lovely people here, I would not be where I am today!

    Love,

I'm still learning. Especially hard for me is the sitting properly. I am trying to do some stretching as I can to loosen up the thighs and legs. Party because of my bad back, I have some mobility problems in my legs, and sitting with knees together is extremely uncomfortable, and as far as crossing them at the knees, it seems impossible.

    Any suggestions?

Ah yes, I remember when I could cross my legs at the knees in my younger days, I thought it was so girly. Although I could not go out dressed, I could do this in public.

As for keeping the knees together, I need to tie them together with a strong rope.

And as for the other fem characteristics, school is still IN

Good topic! You mentioned the breasts. You are SO right! My first set were inexpensive dd+, fun to look at, crappy to wear! I think I am at maybe grade 2 or 3 on the other stuff. Still doing homework. wenda

Yes being a girl we have to learn a lot. We may get it wrong but its fun learning to be girlie. Wear your skirts with pride.

    Jenny:
I was the same way! Just keep trying, you'll eventually get there and even begin to cross at the knees out of habit.
