I would most certainly advise any 46 year old to wear a short mini skirt to go and see their Mothers. It strikes me as such an obvious and sensible thing to do that I am amazed you had to even ask the question.

I am with Karren on this one, we need more information I'm afraid... If it is a regular scheduled walk on larger airliner you can pretty much show up wearing anything and gracefully waltz down the aisles... If however it is a feeder pasenger plane or a small charter involving climbing up a stairway, you may wish to think seriously about not exposing too much to other passengers during the entry process
At any rate, you can pass with no problem so judge accordingly and have fun with your mom in Florida
