With the long hot days of summer upon us, I was wondering what your favorite comfort shoe was?
My favorite pair of comfort shoes are my classic black flats, but fo summer I have a hot little pair of sandals that I like for both style and comfort. Don't like to wear the flats without stockings or hose and it's too hot for that right now.
I'm finally out and happy. By the way I look damn good in 3" heels too!

I absolutly love flip flops. I wear the chunky kind though. From 1 1/2 inch to 3 inches tall. So far no one has said anyting about them. My favorite brand is SODA in white, black and a couple of other colors. Here is a pic of my usuall summer day attire. SHort shorts, cap sleeve t-shirt and flip flops.

My mootsie tootsie step in sandals, they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Even wear them in drab!

My latest fave is 'Chuck Taylor All Star Lo Top Flower/Fish Milk/Ochre Prints' particularly the Orchid Milk (pale pink) [see Amazon].

I think the key word in this poll was COMFORT. As in what type of shoe would you put on when you first get out of bed, wear ALL day, and not take off until you go back to bed later that night. Jaie

I'm surprised no one mentioned Daniel Green slippers.
Some of them are simply gorgeous, with gold thread embroidry, jewels, etc. yet are VERY comfy.
And then some of them are "plush" flip flops..made of towel type fabric (drawing a blank in the old noodle for the correct term) and yet very femme.
I remember Daniel Green's from when I was a child ...very erotic heeled slides, with dramatic ostrich down trim etc.

Or pumps (I mean the flat soft ones seen in fashion atm -- not the 5" patent variety.

My favorite shoe, one that is most comfortable on me are my italian leather heels, 3 - 4 inch......can wear them fore ever and a day with out hurting my feet.....

I enjoy flats; several I have are just wonderful to wear, and they are so easy to pop on and off as well as they are so femme and go with almost any form of dress
Sandals.
Of the shoes listed, I would have to say my women's tennis shoes. They are a white with powder blue trim. I have a narrow foot and they just seem to fit me better than most oversized-basketball type men's tennis shoes.
But I also wear a pair of tan ankle length boots, with side zipper and a 1 3/4" heel. I wear both of these shoes, even in drab! They look and feel great! And being able to slide them on, zip them up and away I go.
