My partner thinks I was a man in a past life!!!

Well what do ya all think of this one? My GF has been sayin this too me for a long time She says I do so many things like a man I just laugh but I think she has got a point. I used to be a great multitasker lol but these days I'm not as good. She says the way I walk, the way I hold myself, everythin really makes her think I must have been a man before She asked me the other day why I like dressin like a man especially when I go out I said cos it makes me feel alive! Whats ya spec on that one lol.

Well, I believe in past lives and I'm positive I was a man before too. When I was very young I used to say I must have been born female this time in order to learn about women, but I hoped to come back as a boy again next time. So now maybe I don't have to wait that long.

Who knows whether we're right or wrong but I have to disagree with you here. I think we have multiple lives so we can learn, grow, and develop. And, the way we learn, grow, and develop is to use the experiences we have. Your past lives are why you are who you are today. You made some choices based on who and wht you were before.

I feel strongly that I was female in my most recent past and perhaps all of my previous lives. For some reason I have a strong connection to the woman (sorry I can't remember her name/character) from 'East of Eden' who gave birth to twins, shot her husband on the day they were born, and then ran away to live the life of a prostitute. Someone who would have lived that role surely would have resented being a woman and chose to try the role of a man when the opportunity arose. I only resent now making that same choice.

Hi and thanx for some very interesting responses! We have a friend who is into reincarnation and spiritual stuff she thinks it is highly probable that I was a man before and this may have something to do with the struggle I'm having now! I like to have balance in my life but I am struggling with a very strong male part of being which is bringing imbalance but time will tell I'm sure I'll sort it I always do.

I think that although past lives are possible...I think there's a big memory wipe, because the endless numbers of lives as all sorts of things, would create a lot of baggage.

And we pick up enough baggage in this life, too without any spiritual help. I know I do.

I just have to inject a little humour here...

My SO thinks I still am a man.........

Sorry, my demented sense of humour again...

Anyway, now that the giggle is over... I agree with you guys in that I think that past lives are a reality. Dreams, Deja Vu, whatever, they just seem to add up to a lot of feelings about the past. Maybe it is some sort of way of letting us finish something from a previous life? I dont know. Just a thought.

Maybe I have seen one too many movies or read too much fantasy/sci-fi. Or maybe I am just plain whacked?

Oh well. Gotta go. Someone just hitched up a horse to the post.

    to all.

    Past lives

You and Cap were both men in past lives, Felix and the three of us were acquainted with one another. I won't try to explain it here and now, just take it from someone who has that insight. The two of you are doing well, BTW, very well indeed. Ericka

    Wow! That's exactly what I often wonder/think.

Hi Felix, yeah you could well have been a man in your last life or a significant life or something or your core being is male or whatever hehe. Or... maybe you act like a man just because you are one!
