Heh, like Robin Leigh said, it's the word you put in to invoke a special graphic output; the codes begin and end in colons (the punctuation.)
People who are using the fully graphics interface might never see the codes, but I use an older browser that doesn't support the feature needed to bring up the palette of graphics.
Also, if you are set up to have postings sent to an email address off-site then the codes show up in the email instead of the graphic.
{By the way, a minor and not terribly important point: Tess-Leigh is a single name, like Mary-Beth; but I answer to either. It skips even my own mind sometimes: I was thinking there for a second that I should tease and ask Robin Leigh whether we're related }
I'm a factory rat, by choice. But last year I had to get a suit, for my mother's funeral. I lived through it, but I would rather wear a skirt and top...BJ
I'm usually tshirt and jeans in drab unless i'm at work. I try to make up for the boringness of men's clothes with my tshirts. Always happy to find another unusual one.

My middle sister has a hyphenated first name. She usually just uses the first part, though. I can't reveal it as it's unique, but the reasoning behind it is rather interesting, with a bit of a TG twist...
Leigh is a family name passed down through my mother's side for a few generation, so I share it with all my sisters, as well as Mum & her siblings, etc. Robin Leigh is/are my middle name(s). I have used Robin as my femme name, but I usually use the feminized form of my first name. It makes it easier for my friends if they accidently start to say my guy name when I'm en femme; they can "convert" if they realize in time.
If any of my close relatives read this, I've just outed myself.
