out and about NYC

My girlfriend and I want to take me out dressed in NYC. We're only 20 so bars are out sadly. I was looking at Lips down in the village, it looks like a fun place to go. Any other suggestions for under-21 clubs, TG friendly/drag restaurants, etc in NYC?

Try Lucky Cheungs. It's campy but fun. Foods decent as well. I also think there is a Mexican Place on 14th St where all the staff is in drag. I can,t remember the name.

From what i've heard lucky chengs is pretty much just a tourist trap and Lips is a lot better (but still touristy).

Any idea what the ratio of tourist diners to TV/CD diners at these places is?

I need some more information about your plans. Are you looking to go to dinner or are you just going to hang out? I would strongly advise going to Lips over Lucky Cheungs to go out to eat. However, Lips is not really a place to hang out. What night of the week are we talking about? Most of the time, I think you would be OK in clubs, if you do not drink alcohol. It's most likely going to be a Friday night. Dinner is fine but if not no big deal. I'm just looking to go somewhere preferably populated by other TVs and CDs in a relaxed setting. And obviously I'm not looking to take anyone home, lol

If you go out on a Friday night, I would advise not going to the party at the CK Bar. From what I have heard, it caters mostly to she males that do not like crossdressers.
