    Wink What would you wear?

If you were invited to a party (Christmas or New Years Eve for example) and could wear whatever you wanted and it would look the way you'd like... what would you wear?

Mainly a FTM question but also welcome to MTF's as long as they don't take over with hundreds of glamorous female suggestions LOL!

I'd probably wear a grey or charcoal suit (single-breasted, four-button) with a red shirt (French-cuffed), a grey and black striped silk tie, and some fabbo Oxfords. With a dress cane (black with a silver handle).
As it happens, I'm going to a wedding in about a week, and am wearing a black pinstriped suit with a white shirt and dark blue tie. Still looking for a dress cane, rather than my old, beat-up brown one.
Yes-- socks! Run out again! Why is it that no matter how many millions of pairs of socks I buy, I never seem to have any? They just... disappear. Honestly, you'd think someone was coming in here, stealing the damn things, and selling them off. . . For me, socks are like sex: tons of it about, and I never seem to get any.

Jeez, you're quick Kieron! Thanks! I'll have to have a look and see if there's any possibility they'd get here within a week. Around Christmas that's going to be tough.

Haha I'm loving your outfits so far! Very smart and suave Kieron... rather gentlemanly and eccentric Abraxas (wicked!)

Hmm well I have this fantasy of the type of clothes I'd love to wear and feel comfy in when I'm a boy. I'd be sort of casual yet stylish.
I'd like to wear some bootleg-cut cords or jeans, with a fairly tight t shirt (with a flat chest of course), and casual sneakers with a man-bag slung diagonally across my flat chest. Don't worry, I know this sounds a wee bit casual but it would be fairly smart versions of this to wear to the party

How fabulous (my word of today!) to walk around feeling comfy and confident and carefree like that. Perfect attire for snogging people too I'd say.... ahhhh. They could ruffle/tug at the back of my T-shirt as I kissed them. Ooh I just imagined then that the T shirt was red with a black motif across the chest. Earlier it was pale blue with an even paler blue motif... haha ok, oops I'm typing instead of just thinking this HAHA

Most likely a suit - maybe a tie, maybe not. If it's for a holiday party then either the shirt or the tie would be a bright, festive color. By the way all the outfits you guys described sound great, and Poc, I totally pictured everything you said - just wish I could see it for real. We'd definitely be a styling bunch if we dressed up and hung out together - heads would be turning!

You know me Poc. I say wear what you feel comfortable in. I could go to one party as Ericka and the next as Rich with equal ease, gender bender that I am because inside I know who I am and am comfortable with myself. I like seeing everyone's comments though. I know many of you guys are dreamy looking in suits. I know I kid around a lot but really I'm okay with how you want to look because I care about the person mostly. Ericka

Don't have a precise outfit in mind right now .... it's more a mood.
For New Years Eve I would start like this

a few drinks later like this

    ending up like this

If I'd be convincing that would be a perfect party.

Tux. Bespoke, not off the rack.
In the darkest of midnight blues. Black can get a greenish tint under artificial light. And since tuxes are worn under artificial light, that can be a problem. But an extremely dark blue will look deep, deep black under artificial light, so I'd stand out among a lot of men dressed alike.

This is not as easy as it may seem to answer. I have looked twice at this post and not answered it. Here goes anyways.... we are going to a boxing day family bash. I'm very undicided but if I didn't have to think about it a smart pair of trousers or jeans and a shirt, I might anyways I'd like some new underwear but don't know exactly what and if I really was feeling devilish and It wasn't family but my gay mates I'd like to wear a P**** xx Felix

Yay, new undies - how about something festive! Good for you, Felix, you can always tell the family it magically grew somehow - most people have no clue what's involved until we tell them, so they may buy it. Just kidding. Wouldn't that be great, though? I'm sure whatever you wear will look sharp.

A suit of course. I've been dreaming of a good men's suit my whole life. I'm thinking gray, with a vivid dark blue shirt, and some sort of a sharp geometric blue tie, with either gray or turquoise accents.
And Capt, I'm gonna have to fight you for Bond. Wow but he is fine!
