    Favorite crossdressing song?

For me it's Doris Day singing "I Enjoy Being A Girl":

    *

I'm a girl, and by me that's only great!
I am proud that my silhouette is curvy,
That I walk with a sweet and girlish gait
With my hips kind of swivelly and swervy.

I adore being dressed in something frilly
When my date comes to get me at my place.
Out I go with my Joe or John or Billy,
Like a filly who is ready for the race!

When I have a brand new hairdo
With my eyelashes all in curl,
I float as the clouds on air do,
    I enjoy being a girl!

When men say I'm cute and funny
And my teeth aren't teeth, but pearl,
I just lap it up like honey
    I enjoy being a girl!

I flip when a fellow sends me flowers,
I drool over dresses made of lace,
I talk on the telephone for hours
With a pound and a half of cream upon my face!

    I'm strictly a female female
And my future I hope will be
In the home of a brave and free male
Who'll enjoy being a guy having a girl... like... me.

I have a playlist on the iBook, Dancing Queen by Abba, Sin Wagon by the Dixie Chicks, California Girls, Man, I Feel Like a Woman, Low Spark of High Heeled Boys, Lipstick & Leather by Y&T, LA Woman, Suffragette City, Just Like a Woman, American Girl, Killer Queen, and about 30 more, but my fav is Bad Reputation by Joan Jett with the Dixie Chicks in second place

Well now I've been good for way too long
Found my red dress and I'm gonna throw it on
'Bout to get too far gone

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition
Need a little BIT more of my TWELVE ounce nutrition
One more helpin' of what I've been havin'
I'm takin' my turn on the sin wagon

On a mission to make something happen
Feel like Delilah lookin' for Samson
    Do a little mattress dancin'
That's right I said mattress dancin'

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition
    Need a little bit more
    of what I've been missin'
    I don't know where I'll be crashin'
But I'm arrivin' on a sin wagon

When it's my turn to march up to glory
I'm gonna have one hell of a story

    Bee Gees

Don't they have a song called "More Than a Woman?"

    Thought it was appropriate!

    Hi

it's always Lou Reed with me

    Make Up

Your face when sleeping is sublime
And then you open up your eyes
Then comes pancake factor number one
Eyeliner rose hips and lips gloss are such fun
    Youre a slick little girl
    Youre a slick little girl

Rouge and coloring incense and ice
Perfume and kisses oooo its all so nice
    Youre a slick little girl
    Youre a slick little girl

    Now were coming out
    Out of our closets
    Out on the streets
    Yeah, were coming out

When youre in bed its so wonderful
Itd be so nice to fall in love
When you get dressed I really get my fill
    People say that its impossible

Gowns lovely made out of lace
And all the things that you do to your face
    Youre a slick little girl
Oh, youre a slick little girl
Eyeliner, whitener, then color the eyes
Yellow and green oh what a surprise
    Youre a slick little girl
Oh, youre such a slick little girl

    Now were coming out
    Out of our closets
    Out on the streets
    Yes, were coming out

and then theres Candy Says, Walk On The Wild Side of course, Halloween Parade,

    Fun question
How about the Beatles tune , "Yesterday", particularly the line--

"Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be........"

How about Lou Reed's "Take a Walk on the Wildside," which is a tribute to Holly Woodlawn. Or "Wig In a Box," from Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Wasn't Lola by Ray Davies and The Kinks and not Eric Clapton?
Now there was a name for a band...
It's not just the look - it's the feeling inside...

    It has to be Barbra

    Streisand, of course !

From her "Broadway Album"...The whole Damn Thing !

If I have to choose, it would be "Something's Coming" from "West Side Story", though I have a tender place in my heart for "Adelaide's Lament" which is from "Guys and Dolls."
For me, the song is about opening up to receive a miracle !

    (Lyrics by Jim Bryant)

    Could be!

    Who knows?

There's something due any day; I will know right away,
    Soon as it shows.

It may come cannonballing down through the sky,
Gleam in its eye, Bright as a rose!

    Who knows?

It's only just out of reach, Down the block, on a beach,
    Under a tree.

I got a feeling there's a miracle due, Gonna come true, Coming to me!

Could it be? Yes, it could. Something's coming, something good,
    If I can wait!

Something's coming, I don't know what it is, But it is Gonna be great!

With a click, with a shock,
Phone'll jingle, door'll knock, Open the latch!
    Something's coming, don't know when, but it's soon;
    Catch the moon, One-handed catch!

    Around the corner,
Or whistling down the river, Come on, deliver
    To me!

Will it be? Yes, it will. Maybe just by holding still, It'll be there!

Come on, something, come on in, don't be shy,
Meet a guy, Pull up a chair!

    The air is humming,
    And something great is coming!

    Who knows?

It's only just out of reach, Down the block, on a beach,
    Maybe tonight...

Leila by Clapton, Lola by the Kinks. I really love Lola though I'm not a girly girly and I don't go for men. But I like the intergendered mindset of the song
    I'm bigendered - butch/femme!

"Glamour Boy" by The Guess Who

I don't have the words handy right now but it is about a fictional group called, "Rikki, and The Baloons"

FYI. It is "Layla" by Eric Clapton.

"I am a girl like you" from the Barbie DVD

Princess and the Pauper. Just as good as any romantic Disney movie. Not the graphics quality to be sure but it was made for DVD.

Second is "I feel pretty" from West Side Story.
