Other than CD related vices, my worst ones were too much TV sports and newspaper reading. But CDing has cured me of THOSE TWO!
U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.
Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!

I just voted and it looks like alcoholism and sex addiction are running neck and neck. Although most of the girls who replied claim they don't fit any of the behaviors, I see a lot of votes were cast. I won't by shy, I'll admit that I do fit into one of the tied behavior catagories. I'm proud to say that I am in a 12 step recovery program and doing very well in it. Luv andJill

I drank for many years because I am an alcoholic and I wasn't comfortable with me. After hitting bottom, finding AA and finding a power that is greater than myself; I learned to be comfortable with who I am and who I am not. After 10 years of letting the program work through me I realized that part of who I am is Megan.
I'm 10 years sober thanks to God, my wife (who knows of and accepts my CD) and I celebrated 20 yrs of marriage this past year, I have a lovely daughter, I have a good job that pays the bills and I'm happier now than I've ever been.

Well I smoke and would love to try and quit.

Depression, first and foremost. Keeps me from dressing as Audrey and posting on this forum. This is my first post (other than an appearance yesterday) in over a month. And I haven't really dressed since my last Tri-Ess meeting in February.

While I wouldn't call my need for sex an addiction in that I don't have a craving about it or can't do without it, I think about it all the time and would have to say that I am easy.
