Kinsey Scale of Sexual Orientation

I’m sure a good many of you gurls have heard of the The Kinsey Scale of Sexual Orientation. It’s a standardized grading system that is supposed to determine on a numerical scale, how straight, gay or bi you are. 0 on the scale is completely straight and 6 is exclusively homosexual. The numbers in between denote the tendencies in between the two extremes.

My guess is that this came about because we all know how everyone tries to categorize everyone else in this world. Most TV/CD and TG’s also know that it’s not as easy as all that and really…who cares Gay and bi crossdressers are a unique entity in that they are attracted to fem things and so that may affect the test.

My personal opinion of the scale is if you don’t take it too serious and get all freaked out about it, it’s actually kind of fun to see the results. By the way, I scored a 4.8 which according to the scale, states: You are bisexual with homosexual tendancies.

I am a 1.6, which means Mostly Heterosexual. As I am what I believe to be a True CD, that is the right definition.

By True CD, I mean a dress because I like to. Not for sexual reasons, or anything else. Just because I like to! No desire to be a woman!

From what I read, Kensey's methods were flawed and unscientific. He let a lot of his own "wishful thinking" get in the way and was not adverse to cheating on his data. He estimated the percentage of homosexuals in the population at 10%----A significant number lached on to by both activists and exploitive politicians.----but more recent data suggests that the number is 3.5% (one standard deveation BTW)--which makes more sense for usual variations in biological "error" rates.
