Well, not in drab, but at payless shoes buying my strappy sandals, 3" heel. I admitted to the lady they were for me, she fell over. Kinda funny and the time considering my heart was about to explode.

ok this is way easy.... when i found out that i did not care abought any one while i am out shopping now free to just do it ....

here are three: A. Remaining calm, walking instead of running, not being sick and panicing when a child I walked past read me then told all his friends and then started screaming TRANSVESTITE as loud as he could, kids will read you everytime beware!!.
B. Being outside fully dressed in female uniform on a armed forces base, to this day Im not sure what came over me!
C. Being at the doctors and being asked for a smear test, I gentley reached over to my notes and pointed out the my gender at birth to the nurse, she smiled curiuously, I went home with a cheshire cat grin!

The very first time I was fully dressed and made up after doing nearly four hours of preparation. I looked in the mirror and fell in love(not like that you lot). Nothing has been like the excitement I felt that day.
It was the first day where I full dressed en femme. Before, I always just put some qucik things on for a few minutes. But one day I had records day off, and my sister was at school, and my mom was gone all day (until 1:00 PM at least, but I got up at 8:00!), so I went the whole nine yards. I did everything I just about wanted to that day, it'll always stay in my mind.
Princess by day, Sheika by night.
While shopping at Glamour Boutique, I was in drabs and suddenly realized that everyone in the store...other customers and sales associates...they all knew I was a crossdresser and that I was there shopping for femme attire. So, who was I fooling...only myself. Once I got through that moment, I removed my sneakers and socks and slipped on a pair of black pumps with 4" heels. It felt so good to try them on beforehand...to find a pair of heels that fit was such a relief!
After selecting my shoes, I went out to the front room and inquired about breast forms. When I hesitated in response to being asked my band size, the sales associate came around the counter with a tape and measured my chest...right there in the store! Minutes later, although I had initially considered a smaller bust and cup size, we calmly held a discussion of how my physical stature dictated the bigger size breast form in order to have both my breasts and body be in proportion. I'm glad I listened to her!
As I left, with boxes in hand, there was so much joy...I could hardly wait to get back to my hotel room to try on my new purchases.

Getting caught by my wife dressed...not a happy one, but one I will never forget...

Going out to a bar, with my girlfriend, of course. There's a whole thread about it, which I wrote afterwards. Everyone I met was wonderful. What a night. Will do it again, sometime, I hope.

What Tristen said. The very same experience - just a few weeks ago. Looked at the whole package in the mirror for the very first time, my jaw dropped then a big sh*t eating grin came to my face. When i first shaved my legs and put on sheer pantyhose,,,,,WOW!!!! And to this day i cringe when i hear gg`s complain about wearing hose,,,,`OH THEIR TOO UNCOMFORTABLE,,,OH THEIR TOO HOT!! pppppppppppppppleeeze!!!
The first time I was at a party dressed up and I was sitting on a couch with a couple of other girls and I was doing my nails in a baby pink polish as though it was the most natural thing that I could ever do.

I have lots of great memories and stories now about experiances while dressed, but the ones that realy are most memorable are a few of my first times out ever. Those that have been out may agree that that first step out fully dressed has to be something you will never forget !
My first time out other than to my mailbox was to meet a couple online friends for a few hours of girl chat. My wife was scared about me going having never met either of my online friends before, but I kept my promise and was home as agreed. It was such a great feeling having made that step ! The next memory that I think about is from maybee my 3rd time out and my first resturaunt experiance.
I was able to catch a ride with another local friend Chrissy,and had a good chat during the ride downtown with Rachael McCullum, the founder of the Southern Bells group( Most of my nights out have been for SBS socials or events) So when we arrived at the resturaunt the valet helped me from the back seat of the car saying "here you go miss" It was so funny and so flattering at the same time that its very close to my first night out as far as memories go !!!
Dinner went well, and I think I was one of the few out of 12 or so that had dressed trying to pass, most were geared up for the drag show at the club after dinner:-) But we were treated wonderfuly and went on to the club afterwards. Getting home to bed at 4 Am and up for work at 7Am was a small price for such a fun night !

Halloween parties always provide the "perfect" cover for dressing, but that doesn't mean you have to stay at the party!
In my hotel room, I dressed in my faux leather mini skirt, red satin blouse, black stockings, red lingerie, knee high Nordstrom's leather boots with 3 1/2 heels, red polish (even on my toes even though they were hidden!), breast forms, auburn wig, gold necklace, clip on earings, ruby ring and makeup. While I wasn't passing, it was a valiant effort.
I had to walk through the casino to get to the party. As I was passing by one of the blackjack tables, a GG (not in costume) jumped up and stopped me. She said I looked just darling and wanted to know if I always dressed this way or was this just a costume for the night. I told her that I dressed this way when I could. She smiled and said "You Go Girl!" and turned and went back to the table. In hindsight, I wish that I just stayed there with her and got to know her better. But I had my sights set on going to the party, so to the party I went!
I hung around the party for a while, but got a little bored because it was too loud to talk to anyone and no one asked me to dance
So I went next door to Bill's casino and sat down at a blackjack table and played for a few hours. I like playing blackjack because you can interact with other people. The dealers were very nice and both men and women players chatted with me. After a while, they were treating me just like another girl!
It was so thrilling sitting up on the stool at the table with my legs crossed in a lady like manner and watching my red fingernails picking up the cards and chips and seeing my lipstick imprints left on the glasses!
I only wish Halloween came more than once a yearNot that I don't dress and go out the rest of the year, but that time was the most memorable because I was mixing with the "normies".

My most memorable moment...
Well let me see lol.. well I have one for you.. I was staying at a caravan site in the Southwest of Somerset nr a small seaside village. This friend knew I was a crossdresser and was prepared to escort me around the block one evening. It was about March and about 10 ish in the evening and I strolled passed this pub as two guys were chatting to each other outside it's front door. One guy said check her out (Me, in my finery!) the other replied, nah leave her well alone mate, you'd never afford her... and that did wonders for my ego lol. This lasted quite well till on the last stages of my walk.... I was re-entering the car park back to the site.. and being the weather was on the turn a gust of the old wind Marilyned me lol. A few guys saw me at that un-expected moment (good timing guy's, thought I!) and they cheered and whistled, nice comments flowed, they loved the moment, I simply gave them a sexy smile, held my chin high and walked calmly with my friend back to our van.... that night was a very memerable moment for me.
My first time would be when my Sister in Law arranged a murder mystery dinner and we were all sent a part we had to play, I was the macho bloke (guy- for the non Aussies) in life so she sent me the housewife part, I think she had guessed a part of my denial. At first I was not going to do it , but on reflection I thought "Why not!!!!"
I knew a few people from my mothers theatre group and arranged to be dressed and made up properley. Alan and his freinds supplied all the dresses, shoes and accessories etc. When they had finished I was allowed to see myself in the mirror.I just stood there looking at my self and cried and cried for what seemed hours, I had to have my face done again, I had washed my makeup off with my tears. They showed me how to walk as a woman, hand gestures, sitting etc,, which I mostly forgot.
The meeting place was at "the clocks" ,a meeting place in Melbourne, the main railway station, I was terrified but I was determined to do it. Alan and "the boys " were acting as minders to me so I was a little safer than being alone?. My sister in law looked over at me a few times, then looked away as she didn`t recognise me and was fuming that I was late, not at all like me to be late. I let her carry on for a minute then I walked over and said "lets get this party on the way ,I`m getting cold". Well you could have driven a bus into her mouth it was so open. This was the best time I had ever had as here I was OUT and DRESSED OPENLY and expected to an average housewife
WELL IT WAS THE BEST NIGHT EVER I was treated as a girl all night and even made to use the ladies wash room, My sister in law insisted on coming with me and gave me advise on how to repair my makeup and told me that she always thought I was more girly than boy and that all the blokey things were a hide for my real personality. I nearly got picked up -- another story.
There are more times I have really enjoyed being out but this was the first time I was out in public and expected to be a woman, It gave me the confidence to be me and I have never regretted it since.

When I first saw myself in the mirror in full make-up that my wife put on for me. All I ever wanted was to be pretty, and there I was, almost ready to cry. When she saw the look on my face, she finally understood me and accepted it owe her so much.

ya last halloween was awsome cuz i dressed three nights in a row. i actually had a freind do my nails a dark red and left it on during the days as well. my sister helped my dress and took me shopping to find the right shoes and skirt. it was fantastic and i remember going into the bar and ordering a drink and the bartender said "nice nails" and grabbed my hand to examine them. later on that night, another girl noticed that i was wearing a thong and told me how cute they were. i was in heaven feeling just like a real girl. the only problem was i had to go to a football game with the guys on sunday and couldnt wear the strappy black shoes with my red nails. oh well. maybe again this year.
