My neighbor is having his 90 birthday and his wife wants me to Come Out of a big Gift Wrapped Box at his Birthday Party at the Elks Club.
I will be in my French Maid uniform.
Both of them know of my "hobby" but it should be a (((BLAST)))), they are expecting about 50 guests.

I was browsing the dresses in the Salvation Army thrift a month ago and a 60ish lady asked if she could hold a dress up to me to
"See if it will fit my husband...he's in the Elks Club and part of """"" some group I can't recall" who dress in drag for "fun"....
she continued - " But he insists that he look good!"

I hope you're ready for the variety of responses. I would bet money that a number of people at the party will be convulsed with prolonged, hysterical laughter.
Laughter is a natural human response when confronted with something that makes us uncomfortable (but is not immediately dangerous). I've read, for instance, that Asian women sometimes react to embarrassment by giggling. People from other cultures can easily misinterpret this as being pleased or even as flirting.
Personal example: I once had a boss (male, and not Asian) who smiled and laughed when he was getting angry -- which on one occasion was very confusing, as I thought we were having a friendly discussion until he suddenly blew up, yelled at me, and stomped out of my office.
So when you pop out of the cake, be prepared. The sad part is, they'll be laughing at you, not with you.

If the guy is 90, you might want to consider the heart attack factor. Maybe you could arrange for an EMS to standby.
