I'm of the mixed blessing of being only five foot, one inch tall; in heels :X As a boy, it made me somewhat of a target but as a girl it's a cute little blessing when it comes to my continued ability to pass. Not being able to reach the lentils stored in the pantry above the fridge sucks though :\

i am barely 5'6" tall w/o heels. In my 4" heels, i am about 5'10". For this girl, being vertically challenged has switched from a big negative to a large positive! It definitely makes it easier for one to pass.

It's great that both of you have the opportunity to use and think of your height in a positive way.

Alys, I think the last thing you should ever be worried about is your ability to pass.


It does seem that we have an over abundance of people at or above the 6ft mark.

For me I guess 5'8" is a good happy medium that works for both sides.
But I would not have minded having a few inches added to my height for my everyday self.

5 foot 9 myself. Unfortunately, I am almost as wide as I am tall!!! Gravity is NOT our friend! Neither is gall bladder surgery apparently, kinda cut all the stomach muscles and they dont want to go back to where they belong.
