How many of us go out "dressed" in public with our wives or girlfriends??

Curious to know with the myriad of acceptance and non-acceptance level of all of us out there.
Now I wonder how many who ARE passable, wife agrees with that to tag along etc, goes out with them as two girlfriends in public.

I've been doing it with my wife now since 1972. We go to movies, museums, ethic restaurants and definetly mall shopping. I stay a distance back from her shopping at the mall or we split up and arrange where to meet...(more so now since she is disabled and in an electric wheelchair. That in itself draws attention ) ....this is so should we run into someone who knows both of us. Hasn't happed yet, but she did have 2 different people come up to her that she did or used to work with with.
Both times were either in a restaurant or mall food court. I just sat queitly as she introduced "Megan" and nodded my head.

Like to hear all your true life stories of interest out there. Where do you go? What do you do together as "girlfriends" out???

My wife and I have been out in public worldwide since 1981. This morning we presented to a university class educating them about transgendered persons. November 29 we will join some of our other transgendered friends and their significant others as we sail among 2500 other passengers from Barcelona to Galveston/Houston - 15 marvelous days and nights of being enfemme. Now I have to decide what to pack. Life is so great especially with a loving wife who accepts me no matter what I am wearing.

i have many female friends that i go out with. but none that i can say are boyfriend / girlfriend or in my case girlfriend /girlfriend.
we tend to just hit the mall do lunch ,window shop for us it's the social thing the movies ain't cheep it's better to rent a movie and have a quite time home.

I have an outing usually once a month (occasionally more) with my elder sister and a GGfriend, shopping, for a drink, or a meal.
This weekend I'm staying at my sisters. It's great being able to spend some "girl time" with other women.

Hi This week I have been out with my gf 3 times. We have gone shopping and to lunch. We also went to the casino last nite. We have been going out together with me enfemm now for 3 years. Last week was a first for me when I picked her up from a meeting enfemm and she came out with another couple. She introduced me and we all went to lunch together. Now that was different.

Whom ever I'm with we go togehter and if we run into someone we know we handle it as the situation dictates, I am introduced as Sandra and we take it from there. So far no problems. I do try to get out as much as I can. Today I was in the Veterans parade as me the bellydancer(female).

We go out together every few weeks, usually to TG friendly events and we will often walk together from a hotel to the event with me en-femme. We are both a bit nervous on these walks but it gets easier each time.

From the first time I was out the door she has been with me. Fact of the matter is she gives me the confidence. We go anyplace that 2 girlfriends would go together ie. shopping, lunch, movies, casino etc.

My 8 times or so out and about have all been with my wife and sometimes a FTM friend and his GF. We've only been to GLBT friendly type bars, but have had a great time for the most part!

Dressing up for me is skirt, tights, heels, turtleneck or henley shirt, acrylic manicure, and earrings. Short hair, no wig or makeup, except lip gloss.

No wife, but I socialize and date in public while dressed. On dates and out at dance events, I am dressed, and if my date doesn't like it, she knows where to find the exit door.

Some women do not like my style, but that is not a problem for me, because they do not stick around.

I dress for my own pleasure and amusement, and rarely does anyone take issue with it.

Last night at Karaoke, a married gal told me I could not attract women while dressed. Not her, it seemed, anyway.

Otherwise, I meet women while I am dressed, and most do not seem to have serious issues with it.

Curiously, I have better luck with women while dressed up, than I do in ordinary male wardrobe. In drab, I am shy and retiring, not outgoing. Dressed up, I am the life of the party.

Go figure.

My wife and I have been out countless times together. Actually I have only gone out once without her. We do all the stuff a drab couple would do, go out to dinner, shopping, sightseeing.

My wife Marla and I go everywhere together. In fact, it's her who is always pushing me to go out on my own sometimes, like to run everyday errands, like going to the grocery store, go to the post office and whatnot ... all when en femme of course.

I do go out doing these sorts of things nowadays but 95% of the time we always go out together as two girlfriends, and always when we are socializing with our friends. All the people we like to spend time with are either in the community or are not in the community but are friends with my wife and they already know about me and seem to treat me as if I was a woman.

My wife is the one who got me to go out in the first place. She said "Joni needs to feel the sun on her face". Our neatest time out together was last spring when she and I went to Niagra Falls and I got to spend a day there dressed and a day traveling on the Amtrak dressed.

I too have only been out once on my own, but my girlfriend and I go to TG events about twice a month. My girlfriend is always suggesting many places to go but I only seem to have the confidence for TG friendly events.

My wife has been going out and about with me about 4 years or so. She decided to give it a try mostly because I needed to get out and about again. We picked a large metro area far from home and those people we knew. We have been out over a dozen times. She has done it, and her comfort factor with me being out enfemme has grown and her comfort factor has increased. But it is not her thing and she does it for me and to be able to spend time together. So I do not push it on her. I mostly just get out by myself and some times with other TG friends. I let her know when I get out and sometimes it is at her suggestion. While I would like her involvement more, I do not see it being much more. It is my thing. Kind of like guys night bowling except mine is guys night enfemme shopping or doing other things.

Same with us. Actually the problem was with a tight sweater dress! But I did stop feeling threatened by it eventually.

My gf is quite accepting of my dressing, But I think a fear of being seen keeps us from actually being in public. the closest I've been to going out is for a drive around the town with her.

And thats about where my comfort level is currently.. need to work on my passing..
