Several full days, but just one at a time, tons of half days. I wish I could go a whole week.

Only on a couple occasions in my life have I been able to do 1-2 days. Having been scared and worried about neighbors in the past I stayed in...doing that required some preparation to make sure I had everything available....movie to watch, food, no planned visitors...etc. In the last year being careful to avoid neighbors, I had fun doing a couple days including going out. It was fun, but limited because you are always checking for neighbors and visitors. The best way to have total freedom, would be to show up 100% enfem and rent a cabin or camper and live as a woman the entire time.
The very first time I tried a day or more, it was mentally tiring... however, with more experience and confidence, it becomes more refreshing and you don't feel like going back...
I went 23 days strait last month. It was not easy going back to male mode.
The longest I've been so far is 10 days non stop when I was in the US. Didn't stay in either, out to shops and restuarants, clubs etc - ..
But ask lovely MJ - I think she's done the last 4 years non stop
In June next year all of my male clothes will go forever and soon after everything male I was born with will go forever too - then I can really go 24/7/52/365 or whatever...
Going an entire day dressed is a common thing for me. I live alone and am retired so I am able to cd as often as I want. I routinely go up to two weeks without wearing any of 'his' clothes.
I can't really count the days I went out all day, it must have been at least 30 days by now, perhaps 50. I've also had two or three days in a row too, that was great. Once I went into a restaurant in the evening, it was a hotel and I needed a room for the night anyway. After dinner, I just checked in en femme and had breakfast en femme too. No problem. I found out, that, after a long day, especially after a few days, I wanted to dress back into my male clothes.
If you ever have a chance to go to a transgender convention, you'll have an opportunity to dress for as long as the event lasts.
In the 13 years that I went to Esprit, in Port Angeles WA, I would usually drive up dressed; stay that way all week and drive home dressed. Going back to work the next week was always weird.

One week end solid is my record.I have nosey neighbors too but I don't care what they see.
There are about 2 dozen of us from this site that attended the SCC (Southern Comfort Conference in Atlanta a few months ago (feels like years ago *sigh*) who were dressed for the entire 5 days. In fact, of all those, I only saw two eventually in Bob mode at the end of the conference. We went to restaurants, shopping, clubs...
Search for threads about SCC or Chicago's BeAll or Fantasy Fair or any number of other conferences or weeks en femme to read about our stories.
If you feel the need to dress for a few days at a time, this is the best, safest, most enlightening way to do it. But like a few have already said, the 'withdrawal' of having to return to 'real life' is sometimes a real downer.
I was lucky enough to spend a week dressed before the conference with good friends, too, so except for a half day of flying as 'what's-his-name', I've got a 'two-week' merit badge'! LOL!
It's a lot of work, what with the constant shaving and makeup and choosing outfits, but far and away, the very best experience ev-ar! I'm still thrilled with the memories and dreams!
Hiya,
I spent 3 whole days and 2 nites femme this year at an annual tg celebration here in the uk called 'sparkle' held in manchester
It was my very first time 'out the front door', driving in heels, and socialising as a female, i was shell-shocked but loving every minute - it's only taken me 30+ years to get that far :'-(
So morale of the story - chill out and go enjoy !
I stay dressed pretty much all the time, if I am at home. The longest time dressed away from home was at last years Southern Comfort, four days. Like Deja said, it is a lot of work, but you will never forget the time.
In february i will have 3 days en femme as my parents are going away from friday-monday!!!
I've got to get some new clothes before then!!

I'm on winter vacation for the next 3 months with my gg and have been 24/7 going on 5 days now as of today with my gg's blessings. As much fun as it is, it does have its drawbacks, need I say the horrible word, 'hair'. Picky and requires daily removal to get rid of the pickyness. Otherwise, it's pure bliss. I do however, try to blend with the public as much as I hate that. However, when Sunday rolls around, halleluyah!!!!! Dress up day!!! No one gives it a second thought when you walk into stores dressed to the 'nines' as they just figure you came from church. Sunday is THE day to go crazy hot!!!
Hugs, Jill
I usually get to dress fully only from 7:00 am till 1:00 pm. Usually only a few times a year, and today is one of them. Boy does it feel super. I wish I could do it more often. I usually can dress a couple times a week, but without make-up on and wig on.
I have many full days dressed, last week end my SO and me drove from Northern France down to Sothern Spain. I was fully en femme. I guess I got read a few times bt no problems. It was great. Since arriving home I have worn only my female clothes so that makes it four days now.
I wish you could all try it.

If you haven't been out a full day, then your wearing the wrong clothes! To begin, go to JCP or your favorite retailer and purchase a nice pair of side zip slacks in your size (black). Not ready for side zip and no pockets?, get a pair of "regular" ladies slacks (then you'll have the needed pockets). Now go find a nice pullover blouse or sweater (this time of year is great for androgynous styles) in a darker color (blacks, greens, blues, even dark purples are not a problem). Now head down the mall to Payless Shoes and purchase a pair of loafers called "Believe" (what I wear everyday). Now, don your under-dressings (Hanes barely there bra, a sports bra or cami work best for me) including black tights or trouser socks, and live!! Your crossdressed skin out and head to toe and not a single person will notice you...unless they complement you on looking nice today....(this is how I try to dress everyday)
What I'm saying here is you don't need to wear your makeup and do your hair to enjoy a day/week/month/year crossdressed. Not ready to CD for work? Head to walmart or again your favorite retailer for a pair of ladies jeans, t -shirt and back to Payless for a pair of tennis shoes in almost any style - but make sure they're womans - go with a traditional white or black - except my everyday Champion sneakers are white with blue stripes - and yes they have them with pink stripes so you can say the blue ones are "guys" if needed...
To say all this in a very long post, you can crossdress 24/7 and no one will notice (or care) so long as you look "normal". This is not to say you can't push the envelope on occasion. We had several really cold days a couple of weeks ago here in Denver. Since I was going to be wearing a coat all day while out, I wore on one day my white shear blouse with bow'ed sleeves - see my post on the black bra being out of fashion under white in the clothes folder - with my black side zip slacks and calf boots (yeah the calf boots were pushing it a bit with a 2" heel). The next day I went back to semi-normal and wore my kaki tan slacks and lavender mock turtle neck sweater with my brown demi-boots - and just a wind breaker (zipped up).
Don't have the ovaries to go shopping in person yet? Order it all via internet/ mail order and have it delivered. Whatever the case, put on some clothes (of the opposite sex) and go enjoy life girl!!!

Jennifer, Great advice. I wear woman's jeans (sorry Karren), woman's shirt, under-dressed, mascara, lip color and no one seems to notice.
HI , Pretty, Well you are going to hate me, I have a GG that loves me as a women. She in fact has told me to dress every day. Before that we have spent a wk in P town in Mass. twice and three time in Key West Fl. She an I are the same size in cloths and shoes 10 1/2 . We buy cloths 14 / 16 together and wear one anothers all the time. I am sitting hear writing to you in a very nice sun dress light green with a very pretty white flower all threw it. It has slits up the side and is very confortable. Yesterday I had to shave all my hair from my chest and under arms, used veet on my legs. you have to shave after wards too. She told me that this morning that I had done my eye brows very good and this was the best I had done them. I shop for my self and bought a light brown eye brow liner . A day is nothing what until you go more and are able to sleep in a nice silky night gown with your boobs . I love it.
luckily.....last 2 1/2 yrs been 24/7...........
I usually dress with a corset. After a couple of hours max, it MUST come off! And so nearly everything comes off at the same time.
Recently, I have been experimenting with tite girdles instead of corsets. There have been a couple of times where I kept everything on all day and some things over nite! Then, it all HAS TO come off for my morning shower.
U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.
Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!
I live alone, so I can dress for as long as I want to stay indoors. So far, the max has been abour 4 days, a few years ago when I was sick during the wintertime. I get wanderlust, and simply feel like I have to get out of the house after being cooped up for any length of time. If I'm off from work, and have nothing planned, it feel nice not to have to go back to boy clothes.
Some causes of crossdressing you've probably never even considered: My TG biography at:http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/...=1#post1490560
There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.
I went 4 full days I was at home on vacation. And loved every bit of it.

Went completely femme from a Thursday night to Monday morning once. Went to a couple of movies, a play, an opera, a museum, shopping for groceries, books, and music, visited my therapist, met a friend, walked and sat in a park, rode buses and trains. Wore about 12 different outfits, all skirts or dresses (wearing pants en femme seems like a lost opportunity to me), always wore nail polish, make up, nylons, wig, and breast enhancers. I really enjoyed it. I did it figuring it was maybe the only time I would ever have the opportunity, and that it was the one thing I had not done. I never expected it to be so succesful -- if I was read it didn't make any difference -- and I went out again a number of times after that. Doubt if I will be able to do it again, and I don't feel the need the same way now, but it was worthwhile that time.
